I'd be considered guilty even if I'm innocent because I'm autistic as heck and don't make eye contact with anyone. I also fidget a lot because I have chronic pain and can't sit in one position for very long before I have to move or stand up.

Actually a good interviewer would realize those things as your "baseline" or normal behavior. They would look for things that change from that norm. So if you stopped fidgeting or became stone still that would be more of an indicator. Body language isn't 100% it's a more about seeing how someone normally acts then watching for clusters of change.

They like to prestent interrogation as more scientific than it is. If you don`t have eye contact, you`re lying. But also, if the person always have a strong eye contact, he`s lying. So much pseudoscience.
