Even when I meet atheists that say things like "I've read the Bible, I've studied your religion, I've heard Christian apologists, and it's all garbage", and then ask them what they think of the argument for the resurrection... And they don't know what I'm talking about... So they did a deep dive into Christianity, but haven't heard of what is likely the most important thing in terms of arguing for the truth of the faith? It just proves they're dishonest. Like, I imagine they've opened a Bible and read verses. I imagine they've scrolled through Reddit and KZbin comments, but the lack of knowledge and understanding really shows where their heart is at. They don't "want" to believe, and they want to "feel" justified.

@@JonTopping I dismiss it as the obvious fabrication it 100% is. Magic doesn't exist. Gods don't exist. You can claim that your magic man in the sky did X until you are blue in the face. That won't make it true. There was no resurrection. Period.

@Finckelstein so you're actually proving my point then. What you've done is respond to the claim that the resurrection is true. I didn't ask you that. I asked you how you respond to the resurrection argument, which uses evidence and abductive reasoning to show that the resurrection is true. As I stated originally, people will attack Christianity and insult it, like you've done, pretending as if they know what they are talking about, and when I bring up even a simple and commonplace issue, like the resurrection argument, they have no idea what it's even about, as you have just demonstrated. It's a complete lack of a willingness to learn, with an arrogant and insulting attitude.

The 'lesson' to be learned, is to NOT be bitter, resentful etc. The ONLY outlet for great loss n tragedy is to express [proper] grief. Not alone. Never alone. These eye opening events range from loss of a child, to breaking a bone, to getting caught in a thunderstorm, to jus basically looking one's self in the mirror. Casual observers do not hold bitter, for they are observers, spectators in the event. When the event happens to the casual observer, they then become the stricken, and restricted/obstructed from observing. Makes you think. Sometimes, we get it right, most the time we get it wrong. Bitterness and envy are the thieves of joy and happiness.

You do, however, need a foundation for fundamental concepts of what 'water' and 'wet' is, to make that conclusion.

The concept of "wetness" can be a bit tricky. Water itself isn't "wet" rather, it makes other materials wet when it adheres to their surface. Wetness is a description of our experience when a liquid, like water, comes into contact with a solid. So, while water can make things wet, it isn't wet by itself. Show me some "dry" water.
