Spent two hours in a boss battle I had been trying to beat for three days. Finally BARELY made it. And then after the fight, lost 4 straight persuasion checks ... with a bard. Without spoiling, if you fail the check, you permanently lose a character. So ... I reloaded, I have yet to beat the boss AGAIN and I have yet to go back to that character. Pissed me off so bad it ruined the whole playthrough. 😂😂😂

You should try out divinity original sin 2, best game of its genre before bg3 and honestly it still holds up amazing

The battles aren't hard. The dice rolls are the real enemies of the game. 50% chance to roll at least 10 or above and failed 4 times in a row. Turn off karmic dice in the options.

This whole thing was a 4%, it's not that improbable really, pretty much the same as getting a nat 20.
