Total left hip replacement at age 68. I was playing competition golf after 10 weeks off our back tees. Obviously walking the course which is 6500yds. Got back to 9 index at age 70.

Sounds like a good plan. I recommend having some physio before you get back to sports. Core stability and upper body strength are often neglected after surgery so it’s important to include exercises to improve these. Hope it goes well!

I fractured my hip and lower back in two Places about 3.5 months ago after a mountain bike accident, luckily it was just enough to not require surgery... Ive been walking without crutches for about 2 weeks now and i was hoping to get back up the range working on at least my wedge game to ease back in, but i still get a bit of pain on the left hip, and my left leg feels week..Its more of a dull pain than a sharp one. Should i continue to rest and do my hip exercises a while longer to build up the strenght again before going to the range? Ive broken my back twice before so i know what to do with that, but this is the first time ive done my hip and i dont want to rush back and cause more problems in the future.. Im only in my 40s and admit i have abused my body over the years breaking/ dislocating everything at least twice and im starting to feel it now. Also when is it safe for me to visit my chiropractor again as i need a lot of adjustments.

Difficult for me to say without doing an assessment and knowing the details of the injuries. Best to discuss this with your surgeon TBH.

Good to hear from you Lee. Goldfinger was one of the best, although I think You Only Live Twice and Diamonds are Forever are up there. Roger Moore was best in Live and Let Die I think. It's a shame Daniel Craig has left. He brought back a hard edge to Bond which I enjoyed. I hope the other hip settles down and that you are enjoying the good weather!
