Crap like this happens on smaller scales often. Example: your co-workers try to get you to go with the flow of their version of events (lie), but you refuse. They pile on the pressure repeatedly then turn on you stating you’re not doing your job and they claim their opinions are facts while they consistently ignore the actual facts that prove them wrong. They hold secret meetings where they plot and scheme against you including an attempt to assassinate your character to have you removed from your job; stating you’re depressed, unstable, their lives are in danger, etc. They create a script, rehearse it and then push it with the thought that if they same the same thing over and over, they’ll be more believable. I’ve seen this done to 3 others in my office and I refused to go along with them knowing they would set their sights on me for disagreeing with their game-plan, and they did. They couldn’t get me fired, but they did get me transferred 😱. I hope eventually more people will speak up against this type of garbage.
