Did you see Mayo on the headset talking to the coordinators? Did you see Mayo tell the OC to return to the run game, that they can't block offense? Did you see a blow out game, where the Jets pulled their starters so you could have garbage time players come in, get some reps? Mayo didn't see and adjust to anything, putting Maye in danger, seeing his head bounce off the ground after a monster hit, should tell you all you need to realize he is not ready to be a HC period. A REAL HC would take any bullets necessary to ensure the development and safety of a top-5 pick. This season is only good to develop a few players and install a new scheme.

The Jets blitzed all night rushing 5 and often 6 players. Did you see the Pats pick even one of them up? I didn't. The blitzers were always unblocked and had easy shots on Brissett. That's not a bad O line, that's a team that has no clue how to identify and combat a blitz. That just tells us how much of a high school coaching staff they have.

He put up with Kraft meddling after the Cam Newton year and Kraft's announcement of the collaborative draft that netted us Mac Jones. Bill actually tried to go along with it before bailing. And then Kraft tries to pin in on Bill. The current coaches have no clue. They didn't seem to know what a blitz was last night. Jets rushed 5 and 6 all night and Pats didn't pick one up. Easy sack every time. They have a rookie gm, rookie hc, rookie oc and a rookie dc. No one should be surprised, but Kraft is certainly saving himself a lot of money.

The real story is they need an experienced d coach or offensive coordinator. An offensive coordinator could fix the oline. AVP didnt even invest in an oline. They dont even have a backup for all 5 positions right this second

They are a awful offensive roster the same as they were last year. They will be in some more games then last year because the QB play and kicking won’t kill you, like last year but they’re bad. They’re at most a 7 win team and probably more like a 5 win team. I’m not sure how the expectation was we were going to get a QB, two tackles, and fix the WR core in a single offseason lol
