3 is the best one tho. A lot of great visual gags that are evocative of Zucker’s previous classic spoof movies Airplane, and Naked Gun. It doesn’t rely solely on pop culture references like the first two Scary Movies.

Highly recommend the Energon Universe comics, that’s the new Transformers series Tim mentioned that Robert Kirkman and Skybound are working on which also ties in with GI Joe and the new franchise Void Rivals, all three series are incredible and even got me into GI Joe. + the new Ultimate Marvel comics have been fantastic, wayyy better than Bendis’ Ultimate Universe overall from back in the day imo.

And this is where I need to plug in Mila Tequilas - "Parody Movies of the 2000s - Selected Works of Seltzerberg" KZbin video for anyones that's interested in to what happened with parody movies after the Wayans Brothers weren't involved anymore. They essentially went to dog shit quality and Mila goes super in depth into them. It's really a must watch if you're like Tim and I where Scary Movies was the biggest thing at your elementary/middle/high school.

Completely agree. I was interested early on with the Bryan Cranston stuff, then fell off a cliff when he was killed. There was about 5-6 minutes of cool Godzilla moments, didn’t care about anything that happened in between those small moments. Everything they did was inconsequential to what happens with Godzilla as well. Was baffled by the great reviews it received on release.

@ but the bigger issue is Gareth Edwards made it seem like he was doing a 54 homage in all his press prior to the movie, and all the trailers made it look like we were finally getting a serious, American made take on the Godzilla solo films (54, 84, and what would come later in Shin).

Even though Scary Movie 1 & 2 are far superior over the rest, Scary Movie 3 is still pretty damn good. 4 had some decent laughs, but nowhere close to the others. I never even watched 5. The Wayans brothers are the reason the first two are so damn good.
