I salute the bravery of “Big Chief” Commander Ernest Evans, who sacrificed himself to protect the entire task force3. I pay tribute to all the fallen who fought to the end and sacrificed their lives to protect their countries. Thank you for your service.

The sad thing is, many German troops weren't nazis. They were forced to fight and die for an evil cause they didn't believe in.

The automatic audio translation is pretty mediocre. More or less a literal translation that doesn't work out. Prefer the original, but it might be "better than nothing"

It's sad the USS South Dakota was never mentioned, she was instrumental to Enterprise's survival too.

The facial expressions were incredible. They looked a lot more restrained than a typical animation but I feel like that is realistic because I could still see all that tension in their faces. Very nice job. The dialogue also sounds far less caricature-like; they sound more like how people would communicate in these life or death scenarios. Japanese and English dialogues both sound awesome.

Correction. McClusky did not order Best to take the other ship. Due to his inexperience, he merely shouted, "All Planes Attack!". Standard dive bomber practice requires the lead squadron to attack the furthest ship. Because the lead squadron instead attacked the Kaga, Best thought McClusky meant for them to attack the other ship, although only his wingmen received the signal in time.

Previously on Battle 360: USS Enterprise was savaged by terrible bomb hits in the Battle of the Eastern Solomons, her worst battle damage yet. Now it's a race to get her repaired and back to sea. The Japanese would love to get another shot at sinking the Big E. USS Enterprise. A fighting city of steel. She is the most revered and decorated ship of WWII. On this 360° battlefield where threats loom on the seas, in the skies, and in the ocean depths. Enterprise's enemies could be anywhere and everywhere. There's nowhere to run when the battles all around you. Battle 360, Bloody Santa Cruz.

My only problem with this video is it's title. Everything else is awesome quality like always from yarnhub but I always feel off when western sources call "kamikaze" to Japanese planes that weren't members of the special attack force. Yes some planes did crash themselves into the ships. But unlike kamikaze pilots who were forced too based on romanticized BS worrior spirit & social pressure from out of touch, delusional or desperate commanders. These pilots were regular attackers who got damaged and decided to make the ultimate sacrifice to fulfill their mission. True warriors and soldiers to the end.
