I would love it if y’all could do a podcast about how to find friends when in your 60’s, 70’s etc. The older you get the harder it is to make good friends.

This episode about friendship made me almost cry, because I don't have any friends and it seems like the hardest thing in the world to make friends.. I pray for good friends in my life!

Iam in the same situation like you right now. We are not in this situation alone, I just wish I can create a group chat where people like us who loves Jesus but feel don't belong to this world expectation can exchange ideas and maybe create friendships after that. Maybe...maybe....can actually meet in the real life and form Christian groups or maybe Bible study 😀

My friend who is like Ginger’s friend Amy had a stroke a few months ago. She is unable to communicate. I miss her so much, we’ve been friends since we were 6 years old. I can’t count how many times I’ve started to pick up the phone to call her. She gets me and I get her. Requesting prayers for her complete healing. Thank you.

Great talk ladies! I really understand what Jai was saying about expecting the same expectations that you give to friends they give to you. I have been hurt many times by friends and especially family members and it hurts more. Through maturity and soul searching I have learned to let these expectations go. It was hard at the beginning BUT I had to realize they are not ME. I now put all my wants and concerns at the feet of Jesus my savior 🙌

This episode was written for me. I have spent the last 10 years being rejected and abandoned by friends who i know now i was too needy with. They never spoke to me about it they just stopped talking to me, even a 14 year friendship i told her how i felt and she told me to f off. But god has replaced those people with better friends. Im always real and people don't like it.

Interesting conversations I left a 45.year friendships where I have been people pleasing so long that I got so tired of pleasing I just wrote a letter and left there are days I regret that I didn’t sit down to have that difficult conversation because on top of people pleasing I am also a person who does not like conflict and can easily start the people pleasing during the conflict (yes I am in therapy) lol. To lay down my life means to me to put aside yourself when necessary to support and even defend your friend in conversations with others. Erin my advice to you is to enjoy your age and your self in the season you are in don’t rush to be older that is what everyone appreciates about you in ten years you will be where Jai is and another ten years where Ginger is and a while before you are where Joyce is (don’t worry I am not too far behind Joyce). You are surrounded by some very wise women ….listen…..absorb…and grow into the woman you will become but please be content with who you are right now as you a women, mother, wife, friend and mentor. You are worthy you don’t need others to tell you because they show you. Life will never be perfect, struggles are a fact of life they teach us to grow in spirit and that is important. Wisdom comes with experience, prayer and relationships everyday of your life. Jai you are right people need to be educated on other cultures to understand each other nothing more just to be understood accepted and to live harmoniously in a crazy world. Just see me as another human being another child of the Creator another worthy soul put on this earth just like you and just as worthy and just like any other culture there are good souls and there are lost souls. Ginger your programming ideas are very “thought provoking “ even this old 67 year old pauses to think about what you each have to say because you all bring something to the table. Joyce of course none of this would be if you weren’t chosen and accepted this path in life. I am still trying to find my way as I am sure we all are and will continue to do until we return home and I find your talks interesting and enjoy them. Good work equally among you all and grateful to finding this podcast.

Fantastic episode ladies! Ginger you always do an amazing job leading this .. Thank you so much for this excellent content .. as I'm listening, the holy Spirit is reminding me that people have their own lens that they view life with, people join friendships with their own expectations .. and it's soo valuable to remember what Dave has said to Joyce, .. "I have to be FREE to have my OWN opinions .. " that helped her to remember he wasn't REJECTING her, he just needed to be free to be himself! Great stuff here ladies .. Thank you so much!! And Jai THAT shade of green is YOUR color!! WOW!! 😍 .. it's gorgeous on you!!

friendships do last forever, if it didn't then they weren't your friends to begin with, i have a few real golden friendships i'm confident are real golden friendships. This is why we don't give the friendship title away so easily cause not everyone is a friend, just have a few you know who are real friends and golden friends.

Thank you Sisters!!! That was so helpful. So much came up in my spirit that needs reflection and maybe a difficult conversation or two. As I listened, I was reminded of a workplace event that featured one of our teachers/psychologists as the speaker. She shared that we are usually in our late 20s when our brains finish forming. As a world example, that's why our car insurance is much less at 26, than at 24. In my life, I realized the depth and the differences among the friendships I made in my different stages of my life, especially since age 27. Although you three awesome women of God are at different life stages, you came into friendship with your brains fully formed. That's why your friendship is so sustaining, so beautiful, and such an inspiration for all of us who are learning from you. God continue to bless your friendship ministry, in Christ Jesus.❤️🦋

My question is, how do you allow husband or wife to be themselves if what they do continuously hurts you or puts you down because trust has been broken? Is that when one should then say, enough, because the person is not willing to change their ways even to work on the relationship?

You are loved, you are precious in God's eyes. You are His Beloved. You belong on this Earth. If you are breathing now.... God has a purpose for your life now...... There is Hope and Love which can only be found in Jesus. God has a purpose for you now. He sees, knows and understands the pain from your past. God doesn't see your scars from your past, whether you made mistakes or decisions where made for you. What God sees is your Beauty. He sees you as fearfully and wonderfully made. He sees His Child made out of His own image. He sees you as His Beloved, apple of His eye. If you are contemplating suicide, then please comment back. You are important! God loves you and so do I.
