I'm certain it happens a lot more than "our" "news" media claims. It's not "rare" as they claim. Brave, caring and courageous American citizens are everywhere. Armed and unarmed. I assisted an officer (couple different times actually) once with my protection trained Giant Schnauzer. We ended the altercation in under 60 seconds once we joined in the....festivities.... What's funny is , this officer became K9 shortly after our event. He was the first K9 on this small township department and used our incident to advocate for K9s. I so wish he had a bodycam then, I'd love to see my good boi in action again. My gosh I miss that darn dog , coming up on 8 years since he passed and I still have yet to get another dog because filling his paws is pretty much unobtainable. Motomo was one bad a-- Giant Schnauzer.

As a passenger, I don't have to say anything under HT Act, it's not a criminal code violation. I let the supervisor look in the glove box, trunk. Normally, I never self snitch nor consent to search/seizure, but was the right move. Super apologized and as we were pulling away, you could hear screaming at mr. What's in the console. Lol In 40 yrs of driving, Ive been pulled over 3 times (plate lights out, etc. minor stuff.) I also drive a car a granny would drive and no tint. Lastly, to avoid the dreaded routine traffic stop, you have to signal as you pull away from curb. Check lights regularly. One light out and they'll stop you( sniff,sniff) and then you're in a jackpot😢

In reality is she MUCH braver than me as I am not able to feel scared when it comes to myself. I am scared of other people and specially the ones I love to get hurt or die, but I am not worried about getting injured or die myself. I was in the military for 21 years and been at multiple conflict/war situations during those years and never felt scared, even during the most hairy situations, but I am VERY scared of any of my children getting seriously injured or killed. I have also been in law enforcement for 15 years and at times I felt that I would have preferred to be alone in some situations so I didn't have to be worried about any of my colleagues getting hurt or killed.

@jedidaforce25953 ай бұрын
@stanknight9159, stfu with your bs. She did not make “a lot stupid decisions.” What stupid decisions did she make? Trying to pull over a criminal who physically abused a family member, cut off his gps monitor, and then stole a vehicle to leave the area so he wouldn’t be arrested? Sure, that would’ve been fine until he ran out of gas and needed another vehicle and the only way to get one would be to steal it from another innocent victim… and based how he showed a complete disregard for human life, I’m sure he wouldn’t have hesitated to violently attack or kill someone to get a vehicle. Sure, I guess she could’ve just shot him through her window instead of ramming her vehicle into his to disable it, but then she’d have to deal with family, friends of the suspect, and people in the public who have no idea what they’re talking about 👆, calling her a murderer, making threats on her and her baby’s life, then having some opportunistic attorney hold a press conference with the suspect’s family behind him/her crying, talking about how great of a guy the suspect was and how he loved his mom, ate his Wheaties for breakfast and pet his dog everyday, how he didn’t need to be shot, but was only shot because of his skin color, while demanding that the female officer be arrested for murder, and have it ruin her life. I just love how people with no LE experience, who’ve never been patrolling alone in the middle of the desert, while trying to stop a madman from killing them and innocent civilians, think they’re so cool hopping on the internet and criticizing a officer for how they handled a a dangerous situation based on a video they watched of the incident from the comfort of their home, and think they could’ve done better. And don’t try to pretend like you are/were a cop. I was an MP and civilian cop for 10 years, and I would never say anything as dumb as you did. This officer is very much a hero regardless of your opinion. Because of her, no other innocent person had to be victimized by him, and the person he attacked, doesn’t have to fear for her life wondering if he would return to finish her off; and this officer sacrificed her unborn child’s life to protect others. You couldn’t even sacrifice not being able to tell the world your stupid opinion on a KZbin video. ✌🏼

Common sense says the helpful male citizen should be the officer and the pregnant officer should work behind a desk.

I train more than 90% of the cops out there. I’m at the range three days a week for at least two hours a day practicing different things with different groups of people.

The cop that was at the drunken shooter shouldn’t have so dismissive of the complainants. Had he listened to them and not used their appearance to judge the situation he may not have been shot

In the last case, the civilian is highly skilled and no doubt trained in martial arts skills. My ex is just like him, so I had no fear about bad guys because my boyfriend was always right next to me.

Why don't cops use their tasers more often to avoid injuries to themselves and others?
@ironrazor72443 ай бұрын
They use tasers a lot but they aren't 100% effective . . .

If more citizens help single cop with their hands or an gun cause backup always take their sweet Time getting there for backup to help the officer. The officer get into an dangerous situation and try to get the suspect under control before they can call for help and then the whole police department shows up so fast like they was sitting around the corner

It's honorable to help out, just scary. Things can go wrong so quickly. May not be doable, but the buddy system would be better. Always have 2 officers, so it doesn't put the public at risk. Once armed, you're a target.
@NobukhosiNcube-li5ms3 ай бұрын
Cops shouldn't patrol alone especially the female ones. Things can go bad really quick. Having a partner to back them up could be very vital
