I don't mind if they have a follow-up where he ends up dating Kayo, but I do find it annoying when they rush the story just to add a splash of romance at the end. I do love that they opted for the scolding him for his diet instead though.

There's a serious part 2 opening here, after all, which sister ultimately wins over Shin, Shu or Kayo? Maybe both?? At least, Shin was able to help reunite them, very touching. As for the parents, law abiding or not, keeping the 2 sisters separated, not to mention showing favoritism, only led to them losing both girls....maybe they will be able to reflect, maybe not. Hopefully, in time they can reconcile...Great VOAs too! 😊

They are legal adults by law at least in most modern countries they can either file for separation from their parents or legally are protected as adults and do not have to listen to their parents. Neither seems to be in school either so their not covered by guardianship either though it is an animated story so things could be different. But looking at it from a real world point of view they do not have to even deal with their parents and their parents should not have any need to go looking for them unless there is some other hidden motive to having control over them. Which even then there are laws protecting people on reaching the age of an adult even in a screwed up world.
