You have to watch to get the answer to that question!!! I will never run out of brush here on Catbird Hill. I am so glad to have ready access to a great wood and brush chipper....The Woodmaxx TM-86H. It has truly been some of the best money I have spent!
Here is the link to the Woodmaxx website...

Good morning John, you made me want to go out and do some chipping today, I think we have 3 piles waiting for us. I think your chipper is perfect. Our chipper doesn't have a hydraulic feed but it is still great for our purposes. I enjoyed the video, have a great weekend, Ben 👋😎👍

Great video John. That chipper looks the same as a Woodland Mills model. Yes you gotta keep at it. Just like cutting grass. Have a great Friday. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋

Noel, I think you are correct in that the Woodland Mills model is very similar. I think they all get punched out of the same factory and tweaked a bit by the North American distributors.

I have the same chipper and love it. Totally agree with the philosophy of chip early and chip often. I have far too many piles waiting to become mulch...

Thanks so much for watching and for your comment!! I've had the chipper for a long time, and you think I would have learned to keep up with it, but you know how it goes!😂

Another excellent video Mr. John...procrastination and land make it tempting to let it sit. Your machines are well kept and out of the weather, both very important.. As I am apt to do, I investigated everything you spoke of...you are correct, run that machine at your own pace...@21:15 specifically I have studied that situation in-depth years ago, no worries sir...great job

Brian! I have definitely come to the conclusion that when I work at a slower and smoother pace, I actually get more done!

Had not ever thought about when the best time to chip might be. As always, I learn a ton from your perspectives. Including, never put green wood in the garden. Love the chipper. Don’t have one yet.

Great point John, chip early and regularly. As you showed it dosen't take long for grass and weeds to take over when you leave the brush on the ground. Also when you leave a pile of brush sit hor a long period small animals take up residence. And over long periods the brush compacts and that makes it hard to pull apart for chipping. Your chipper made quick work out of that brush pile. The price of the chipper you have has gone way up since you bought yours. Have a good one!

Thanks, Paul!!!! Everything has gotten so expensive! But I guess if you added up repetitive rentals, it probably still pays off!
