My son has IEP meeting in January . The goals are for third grade but students end academic year in June . What happened with goals for September to December. I am confused about that

Thanks for your question. This is a GREAT one to ask. IEP goals generally have a start and end date listed on each goal. Check your child's last annual IEP or addendum if he's had a more recent meeting. There should be dates listed AND also a statement from your IEP team HOW often goals are measured. Most students have progress reports aligned to the reporting period for your school. This means EVERY time your child gets a report card they should also be getting progress reports on every single IEP goal.
