Here's a little Farmer Tech Tip, If your Roll-Pins are falling out, or the hole is loose, drive a nail or a piece of a used up welding rod inside the Roll-Pin. Roll-Pins are hollow, and they just aren't the quality they used to be, so I do it as a safety keeper even under new conditions just in case.

The first one(s) were built in the day when things were made to last. Note how thick the frame is. Scott has repaired or replaced a lot of its parts but the frame stays the same.

Thanks for another great video Welkers!!!! It was interesting and informative and enjoyable. Thanks. Lots of work you all have done there on the seeder. Love Bob’s joke puns on the seeder work. Makes all the labor intensive work go a little easier-yeah!!!! Replacing that Rock shaft was a heavy duty job. Can see why with the old one bent the seeder did not work properly. The new rock shaft brings everything back into alignment and working properly. Yeah!!! Am sure that piece was not cheap. Real heavy duty piece there. Glad you had the crane to lift it into place. Now if I understand correctly, you just have to replace the pins that holds the knifes into place on the shaft, then you are ready to go. Lots of Welker work getting the seeder back into shape and ready to do its job. Nice job Scott and Nick and the team supervisor, Bob!!!!!!! Of course a little help from Colby also. Teamwork!!!!!!!! Looks like you are ready for some serious seeding. Having both units ready is a real plus. Nice work with the drone. Great seeing both the big buds going down the road. Yeah!!!!!! I drove 1 of the first generation Big Buds out here in California around 1975, 76. Air bag brakes, 350 Cummins, 13 speed Roadranger. Quite the machine in rolling hills around Shandon, CA

Things are coming together for you guys. I suppose You are really thinking about getting seeding, if you aren't all ready seeding a little. Some guys were getting going on beets and corn here in Central Minnesota. We were about to, but it rained almost 2inches. And the temperature is dropping off. It's plenty early yet for us.

We are getting all your rain here in the UK, its been one of the wettest autumns and springs since I was small we really have not seen any sun. Winter crops are drowned out. The weather people say for 18 Months, I am now 74 and birthday in April I know it was wet in 1955 when i started school , and we had some wet harvests in that period.
