As a note, you can only access these characters on Rev. 2.0 of the game. They were taken out on later revisions at the request of the NBA.

Man, seeing NBA Jam on screen brought back a lot of nostalgia for me. I had the game on SNES way back as a kid in the mid-90s and I played the hell out of it. That and mk2 and Killer Instinct.

I bought a SNES multitap only so I could play NBA Jam and Secret of Mana with friends. While I'm not usually big on sports game, playing NBA Jam 2vs2 players with friends was one of the best gaming things I ever did

I remember playing this in a tiny arcade in Philly years ago as a wee lad. God I never knew this stuff existed! This was a nostalgia hit for me... And I loved playing NBA Jam. Which also had an MK3 cab right next too it. (I remember getting kicked out all the time for cracking open the coin slot and programming free play into the machine while no one was looking. Guy taught me, was awesome... Till getting kicked out.)

I had the chance to buy a NBA Jam arcade game cabinet, the full size one with 4 players, for $300 in 1997. I was a poor college kid at the time and didn't do it. That's one thing I kind of regret not doing.
