The cops in the first one defiently escalated the situation. There was no need for the priest to yell, but instead of yelling back, they should've calmly asked him to go inside. No matter what, you as an officer do not get to shriek at a pedestrian unless they're threatening you or hurting you. Maybe I'm missing a lot of context on the first one, but even with my lack of totally grasping what the straits of the situation happened to be, there was a weird vibe i got from the officers. Something felt off. That mess probably could've all been avoided if they just walked in calmly and sorted it all out professionally instead of charging him like that. I didn't really understand the point of that. Also, that pastor was genuinely serious when he stood up from being detained to protect his pregnant wife. That looked like the heart of an honest man to me. It was also really upsetting that those traumatized children were hardly acknowledged throughout the ordeal. To be honest I think it's wrong to call the first guys shady, didn't look like that to me from what I saw. Seems like the situation was still complicated, nonetheless.
