There are laws against animal abuse even farm animals being killed for food cant be abused. If you know someone abusing animals even any farm animals being abuse turn them into the authorities. I've been to many farms and None of them abuse their animals. Most farmers are animal lovers and take very good care of their animals. Even the animals that will become dinner are not abused before they are killed for food. Farmers only kill animals for food. They don't kill just for the hell of it nor do the beat them.
