Step 1: Disorient Step 2: Restrain temporarily and Disarm. Reapply disorient stick. Step 3: Apply mag cuffs while he is restrained to ensure proper restraining. Step 4: back the hell away and tell cap to watch his mouth. (They knew what they were up against. They knew if they didn't get it in 1 they weren't gonna get it. Electro wasn't to take him out but instead to disorient him. People weren't expected to hold him long, just slow him long enough to get the mag cuffs on. The mag cuffs were their ultimate plan as he had to fight with one hand behind his back and it took his full focus to get away from the wall and then had to continue to stay away from the wall less he get pulled to it again. Imagine if they had gotten both on, he struggled with one. Two would be almost impossible to get out of unless he ripped the bar out of the wall )

I like how Cap is analyzing everything from the very minute people enter. From the guy slightly holding his stun baton to the guy sweating. And when he finally realizes what’s going the music picks up perfectly.

I've always loved Grimlo aka Crossbones. 99% of the time in a movie fight, the final character fighting the hero runs away or just gives up. Even though he and Cap are in an elevator and EVERYONE else is down, he still thinks he has a chance.

Cap pulls it off. Other people have tried it as an intimidation tactic and it's pathetic. In one way, it's good that he's out of time. If he'd seen enough Pop Culture, he'd have seen how cringeworthy that ssentiment usually is.

They've faced each other twice in crossovers. One, Marvel vs DC/DC vs Marvel, Batman barely edges out Cap with a single batarang throw vs shield toss after *days* of fighting each other to a standstill. In the second, JLA/Avengers, they study each other at a distance like the parable of two samurai meeting on a bridge, playing out the fight in their respective minds-- and eventually decide it's too close to call and a waste of time to duke it out so they team up instead. They're about as evenly matched as characters could be. But you know who would whup Batman's ass? Black Panther. And you can take that to the Gotham City bank.
