I have coached youth baseball games where the only runners advancement we could muster was stolen bases and the trusty bunt. Even had one game where a player laid down a 2HR bunt! Yep you heard that right all the way around against a fairly competitive team. Caused a disruption like you said and the 1st basemen flew the late covering 2nd baseman then the right fielder and 2basemen tussled over the ball at the fence, and the 2nd basemen ended up throwing an offline bouncer to 3rd that hit the fence and bingo bango 2 run Homer on a bunt lol. ummm kinda sorta ended up losing that game if you can imagine that....
