Most scholars say the Gospels were not written until the mid AD 60s. Is that right? This podcast describes why they think that, and gives suggestions as to why the Gospels may have been written much earlier.

Just like biblical and historical evidence proves that jesus and his apostles were vegatarians biblical and historical evidence also proves that the trinity, atonement, original sin and hell are very late misinterpretations and are not supported by the early creed hence its not a part of Christianity I pray that Allah swt revives Christianity both inside and out preserves and protects it and makes its massage be witnessed by all people but at the right moment, place and time The secred text of the Bible says ye shall know them by their fruits So too that I say to my christian brothers and sisters be fruitful and multiply Best regards from a Muslim ( line of ismail )

Sup 👋, quick question. Are you more of a Unitarian now? Strictly understanding the Bible for what is written!? Do u have a video on why you don't believe in oneness? Thx

More important than this question here to me is how and by whom was the bible, as we know the books today, put together. Who assembled all the books, since there is no true christian church to be found after the first century? (Up to this day, by the way).

Hi, one evidence that the writings/letters/books of the New Testament were accepted very early as inspired and authoritative is the fact that within them are clear differentiations between God and the Lord Jesus. That is, throughout the New Testament, Jesus is not God. In every book of the New Testament there are statements that never, ever would have been included as "inspired" if the judges of "this book is in, this book is out" were Trinitarian, or for that matter if they had believed that Jesus was anything other than a man, the Messiah, authorized and empowered by the God of Israel. "Deity-of-Christ" believers did not make the decisions about the NT canon. "Deity-of-Christ" believers had to live with the Scriptures that were already determined, twist some, ignore others, take others out of context.

@@billschlegel1 Hello Bill, and thank you for responding to my comment. But that is not the point i was making when asking "how and by whom was the bible, as we know the books today, put together". I know of the two sources, Alexandrian and Antiochian, but WHO exactly gathered the books and put them into scripture as we know it today? Because the catholic church was the corruption already working in Paul's days (2 Thes 2:7) and they surely did not give us the bible that she forbids reading up to this day.

@@joggler66 Yes, establishing the "canon" was for sure an involved process. I tend to think, like the OT canon, people recognized quite early that certain writings carried a divine authoritative aspect. It may have been a bit "easier" for the OT canon, since many prophets declared "this says YHVH". It became a matter for listeners to discern and agree (or not). But even in the OT, especially narrative books, didn't necessarily have "thus says YHVH" declarations.

These liberal ideas are taught to first year students at allegedly Bible believing colleges. It is tragic. Goes upon guess presented as fact. I would like to know from an actuary what the chances are that these guesses are correct.
