As always a solid video, the Mann's jelly worm has been around forever, and is cheaper than all of them.. awesome producer..

One of my favorite ways to fish. Love fishing the Zoom Big Dead Ringers at night too. As you said they don't usually produce a lot of numbers but the bites you do get are well worth the wait. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks. Please do a shallow water worm video. Too many off the guys I fish with only thought the strait tail. Seems like auger tail is a thing of the past, but I am sentimental on the curly tail

Nicely done video. Kind of new to bass fishing and just learned of pegging the weight. I don't see anything about what bobber stop you used in the description. Don't really need the brand name, just need to know if that's just a standard bobber stop. Thanks

Love your videos! Great content and unbiased reviews and explanations. If I may offer one piece of advice -- this comes from many years of public speaking and teaching. Re-watch your videos. Pay special attention to run-on sentences, particularly the possible over use of the words 'AND' and 'SO'. God bless and keep up the great work!
@FishtheMoment4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice. I’ve received this advice before and I’ve been working on this for the past month. You will see my results reflected in future videos. I’m about 3 weeks behind on videos, so you will hopefully notice a difference in a few weeks. It’s strange because I don’t do this when I give prepared speeches. It’s only when I’m trying to come up with information off the cuff. It’s really tough to formulate ideas and try to string together coherent sentences at the same time. It’s just that my videos already take me 6-12 hours to make and would take me an extra 2 hours if I wrote myself a script.

Great info and tip's! What's your thoughts on the YUM mighty worm? I don't have many places around me to fish the big worms but have a few mighty worms and maybe can get bit on them and I fish the black max reel and I really enjoy it, like you I have been using them for awhile and never had any issues..the fish don't see my rod and reel,they just see whatever presentation I fishing that day.. I fish tons of river and creek smallies and put the reel through the ringer and work's great! Just came across your channel not long ago and glad I found it, best of luck and stay safe and healthy out there!

Great information. I took notes! What about fishing worms in rocky lakes?
@masfishing14 жыл бұрын
I just tried fishing a large worm for the first time last week in 92° weather. My lake has lots of rock bottom snags. I put an 8" worm on 3/16oz shakey head. I didnt lose my shakey head all day. Im a bank fisherman, so no electronics to show me brush piles. I think dragging mite get me snagged alot, so i just hopped it, and shaked it. I only had 2 bites, but i caught one, 17" 2.2 lbs.largemouth. Im going to try it again this week.

Hey Jonny, another great video. I'm just curious since you are color blind, how do you know what color worm you are fishing? Do you have to keep them in the original package to read the color? Do you use colors you are able to differentiate?

Jonny, I just tried fishing a 8" worm last week for the first time. Im a bank fisherman so i just kind of guess where to throw it, unless u got some tips for me. The lake i fish has a lot of rocks on bottom. I put my worm on a 3/16 oz shakey head using a 7 ft med action spinning rod, 10lb flouro. I only caught one, but it was 2.2 lbs. Can u throw these large worms wacky rigged? Is that effective?

Great advice, and Thanks... (Take me fishing some time...?) Haha! Have you ever heard of the Piscifun Phantom reel...? I have several Lew's, Black and Silver Max, Quantum, and even a (shelved for now) REVO SX. The Phantom is THE best reel for the money, by FAR (that I've found)...! NO! I don't get paid anything for promoting the Phantom, don't even know anyone else that has them - except people I let use mine - then they are sold on getting one of their own!). Check'em OUT...
@kboutdoorspnw31474 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen and heard of them. But never tried them yet. Really worth it? (Not that money is tight) but haven’t wanted to waste the money on something that cheap, that may just fall apart or disintegrate after awhile. Because I have 2 Black Max’s and they’ve been out through the ringer, and still work as well as the day I unboxed them.
@MSmith-jf5wo4 жыл бұрын
@@kboutdoorspnw3147 I have 2 Black Max (Best for the Money Combo) and a Silver Max, and a couple of Lew's Reels. So far, I've only used the Phantom for about a year and a half. Haven't tried the Phantom in Salt Water, though.
