Ethnicity matters. Many tai ahoms in today's time are not even ethnic mongoloids. I am tai ahom and a mongoloid but have seen many ahoms who are more like mixed people. Same goes for Chutiyas and morans as well and also Koch people

Well now ahom are mostly mix the only ones who have the tribal features are who have assimilated mostly with the tribals. Now anyone can identify as ahom 😂 i mean i got to meet a person during my HSC and i thought he might be miya or kaibarta but when he said he was ahom, since that day my prospective changed.

@PankajSaikia20 it is mentioned in the constitution of India that tribals are those who are shy to mix with the rest of the population, has a definite culture and are economically backward compared to the rest. Ahoms are originally mongoloid but in todays time it is mix which proves that ahoms aren't shy to mix with the rest of the population. Also six communities getting ST will effect the current ST tribes

@jagatdeuri3261 Not all though. Like 7 priestly clans people mostly have mongoloid features. Also clans like deodhai, bailung and mo-hung are 99% mongoloid ethnicity. But rest look more Aryan. I am from priestly clan and my family members have been part of the ahom royal family and so I have mongoloid features. Same can't be said about all ahoms. It's like out of 10 ahom people 5.6 people will have mongoloid characteristics and rest will have no mongoloid features

First give state offical languages status to the indigenous language and make medium of instruction. I mean Bengali can be associated official language but dimasa, deori, karbi, mishing cant 😂😂 and Santali is a medium of instruction but tiwa, deori, mishing etc arent.. All i can concluded is unless you form a milliant, your demand arent going to be listened.
