This could almost have been secretly one of Rowans bizarre ways of getting customers to buy something. Ya know his weird ideas of running a tech shop that make no sense but it just works. Normally he'd tell the guys to get back to work. Maybe he wanted them to believe they weren't working but they were. Them ghosting Hamish ended up with him selling both the products to himself. Pure genius sales tactic.

When they were in playtech, they filmed it in an actual store so all the product props were probably real empty boxes used for their actual displays when open to the public. It wouldn't surprise me if the real playtech donated a load of those boxes to VLDL to use. After all, they're quite a big, fairly known channel, that's some decent free advertising for playtech..
