This is Nyango Star. He is a Japanese Mascot who plays drums. He represents a prefecture in Japan that is famous for its apples. Nyango is an apple possessed by a dead cat. Nyango Star comes from a combination of 3 things: Ringo Star: the drummer for the beatles Ringo: a Japanese word for apple Nyan: the Japanese onomatopoeia for a cats meow. They wouldn’t get fired because this is his concert. The gimmick is heavy metal childrens music. Nyango Star is actually a woman underneath and is the drummer of the heavy metal band Maximum the Hormone
