Chillleeeeee!!! I cannot believe myself. I never let my hair get to this point, but it happens. I am trimming my hair after a year and will be uploading my new regimen very soon! When it comes to hair and makeup, they start panicking 😂 I remember we were getting ready for church one time, and I was “baking” my under eye concealer, and he was like “what are you doing? Girl....as someone with chronic long-term illness/conditions...I've been there. I'm always amazed that I still have hair and edges and density at age 43....the things my hair and scalp have been through. Now I know better I do better but sometimes I still slip up. Last year while battling insomnia from prescribed medication withdrawal, I stopped taking my multivitamins for 5 months...With stress and that deficiency, the crown of my head fell out. Luckily I know how to get it to grow back so it's done so but I have to be careful not to go so long without my extra supplements. Give yourself grace. You were sick and becoming healthy again is far more important than hair. Husband is a star boy for looking after you!! I grew up in the Caribbean. The rain on the galvanised steel roof is the most comforting sound to me. Lol!

Thank you for reminding me to go easy on myself when I’m unwell. What I am curious about is the multivitamin because growing my crown has been the hardest part of the journey. Happy birthday to you! I LOVE the shrinkage. It’s SO amazing and a sign that our hair is healthy and thriving (not that damaged hair doesn’t shrink as I’m a poster child for that right now). 🤣🤣🤣yes I know hair type doesn’t matter. But it’s helpful in finding others who have successfully managed the type. I think I responded to you. I wasn’t sworn to secrecy. The fact is, it’s a product I purchased and I can review it if I want to. And I’m trimming my ends to start a new regimen. It helps me see how the regimen is helping me retain length or not.
