I absolutely hate when this happens. I even have the paralyze perk for archery and have seen hag ravens turn green and fall over while my arrow just bounces off the rock in front of me lol

Ledges and wall corners. The bane of Skyrim stealth archers everywhere. They have induced much cursing over the years.

I always accidentally pick them up xD When my high DPS arrows are down it always automatically goes to these ahahah!

Aim higher for headshot lol thats what I always do, kill cam always show an arrow to the head for me

yea... simply its not srcripted good enough from places with not so good textures..... in places where developers are not expecting you to shoot from, like specialy rocks and cliffs...... just move to the good npc player area and your good.

Are you playing the first version of Skyrim? I love that old graphics the less saturated colors fit much better with Skyrim

This isn't about the trajectory of his arrows. It's about the fact that when he releases his string, his arrows are just falling a foot in front of him. This has happened to me as well and it's annoying

Arrows rise after being loosed in Skyrim. In the middle of their travel they rise higher than the reticle before falling back to it. At this range if he aimed at their head it would fly over them, especially since the shooter has elevation. Been a really long time since I played, but I still remember that if you are shooting somebody from 10-20 meters away, you have to aim at approximately their mid sternum or the arrow will go over them. I had the immersive headshots mod, so I had to learn this stuff pretty quick at low level.
