For clarity that is the Zimbabwe Republic police singing in Nyanja/ Chichewa which is one of the 16 official languages in Zimbabwe, for those who say its Zambian or Malawian .My grandmother is from Hwange in Zimbabwe and so we grew up speaking this language...I don't get why people are surprised..We Africans share a lot of languages .

Hi Debra.The great news is that It doesn't matter the colour, culture and where you grow up from. What matters is to give praise to God. I have come to understand that Africans in America also form up another culture which is a blend of so many others you have interacted with. Anyways, in the song- we are reminded of the importance of joy and praise. We are told that if we don't praise God, our bones will dry up and be cranky (direct translation). Interpretation is basically that loss of joy dries up the bones: while joy oils the bones and soul. God bless and Have a glorious day! Visit Zambia 🇿🇲 sometime! Come experience our culture and land!

Awww guys this gives me Joy to be Zimbabwean. For those who are saying this is Malawian or Zambian I'm not sure if your country has the same uniform but we do enjoy singing in bemba, chewa,swahili and such languages. I grew up Catholic and priests from your countries used to come and teach us songs and oh boy did I enjoy singing and dancing to the songs. It doesn't matter where a song originates all that matters is how we love and Serve God. Stay blessed
@fatimasow68877 жыл бұрын
No Zambians don't have such uniforms. And the pronunciations are not Malawian. But that's purely Zambian pronunciations and song. You are right. Am surprised people are even making a fuss about ownership of the ones singing. I think the message in the song should be talked about more "If you don't know God/Jesus, your bones will cry kwepede in hell" That's the gospel being preached right their!
