They definitetly affect each other.Blake lively is just looking like a statue for me like i cannot say she is attractive and i cannot say she is someone i would like to have a date with.No morals,no charm.

I believe personality does affect beauty. If someone is attractive but does or says horrible things I would not find them as attractive anymore. It can work both ways, for example I started finding this one guy more attractive because he’s very charming and has a great sense of humor. At first he wasn’t the usual type of guy I tend to go for but that started to change.

Idk if it’s something small and petty I might just think they’re having a bad day but if it keeps happening or if they’re being really rude then I find them ugly my biggest ick is when people either make racist, homophobic or r@pe jokes or even if they find it funny. People like that just gross me out no matter how attractive they are
@KDevilgal2 ай бұрын
Yes. It’s like if someone created a shit sandwich with expensive bread and put it on a beautiful plate. It might look fine from a distance but the closer you get, and the more you see, the more you can’t separate the two and wonder why anyone else can find it appetizing.

I so agree with the notion that, "hey, if you're rolling in dough and not at all relatable, don't put on airs." Look at Dolly Parton, she is swimming in financial freedom, and is by no means "relatable", however she is loved for her ability to maintain that human connection.

Dolly Parton in my opinion is very relatable, she is a humble woman who grew up poor in Tennessee, she literally modeled herself after the town "hoe" because she thought the woman was so beautiful and she wanted to be just as beautiful so despite everyone talking badly about the woman Dolly didn't care and instead looked up to her for being unapologetic gorgeous, Dolly quite literally is the og girl's girl, also hearing stories about her absurd amount of siblings and parents trying to live in a one bedroom house was quite a rollercoaster, and she has given back immensely to hers and other people's communities, plus she wrote I will always love you and then gave permission to Whitney to sing it which led to the iconic song we have today.

I knew because I’d seen Gone With The Wind and my mom told me all about slavery, we watched Roots, the only black family in the city was our sitter for 2 years and we’re friends with their kids to this day. so we just had the privilege and curiosity to learn more about American history. I’ve always seen Ryan be kind and appreciative in regards to his work and always professional and respected. I just can’t see how he’d go through with that. But I’m glad they acknowledged how wrong it is.

I'm glad to know she isn't really southern. That makes more sense to me. Most people who really are from the south want nothing to do with that era. Even the ones who defend the South's part in the Civil War often have a cognitive dissonance about it relating to slavery.

We need meaningful and REAL commitment to transformation and the lasting impacts of their pernicious/dangerous actions and words! I love how you approach these topics with such care and respect for women as a whole while offering sharp, thoughtful critiques. It's so refreshing to see your perspective

I think people have more smoke for Blake because she had a website dedicated to romanticizing the 1800s. It's down now but in like 2017 or 2018 she was asked about the website and she still stood by it and thought it was a good idea. Personally that makes me believe she knew exactly what she was doing getting married on a plantation and that it really was a dream of hers. I bet if she thought she could get away with it she would be wearing the big gowns and all.

we as a society need to realise that good looks are not finite. please stop placing emphasis on pretty faces; yes the halo effect is real but its important to unlearn your bias and understand that beauty does not raise your children, guarantee a healthy relationship or guarantee someone will be a good friend. anyone can have a pretty face, but your personality is unique to you. please prioritise your inner beauty guys, because beauty is fleeting and charm is deceptive (proverbs 31:30)

It’s not misogyny, it’s marketing. Ryan is simply more likeable, charismatic though imperfect. Self aware. Blake is annoying, comes off as spoiled, rude and lacking self awareness. Look at it this way: there’s King Charles, the only rich man EVER in history to not be forgiven for having a high profile affair because Princess Diana had, my god, sooo much more charisma than he did and does. Her charisma was so everlasting the public still hasn’t forgiven him. It’s not misogyny. No more divine feminist victimhood please I can’t take it anymore.

This legit doesn't fly. Canada was a place many slaves escaped to (only to *also* be treated like crap), and combined with Canada's abuse of Indigenous people, I find this argument to be a cop out- Especially because it isn't as though Ryan was born in 1950, when the propaganda excusing both the US and Canada's actions was more prevalent.

It sure is an interesting take between inner and outer beauty! What i find interesting is that JLO is so focused on being relatable, when her image is very far away from it, that it makes it seem forced. Which is uncomfortable to see. As for Blake, i was honestly quite unfamiliar with her interviews, so this was very eye-opening for me to watch! And to answer the question whether someone's personality can make them ugly: YES!!!! It really can! I've come across many people who look ''sweet'' or ''kind'' but are actually the most horrible people. Ugly personality = ugly. But it's also someone i'd consider 'disgusting', when their behavior is very off-putting too. Even when certain features can be deemed attractive or pretty, their overall appearance in combination with an awful personality makes them a 0/10 every day!

Hi! Great video! This is the first video of yours that I came across and I will definitely check out your other videos as well. I loved how you defended the question about what to say if a DV survivor approaches Blake in the street. Many people claimed that the question was inappropriate to ask of Blake. However, the actresses like Mariska Hargitay (who plays Olivia Benson in SVU) have spoken about survivors of DV, SA, etc will write or talk her about their personal experiences. It made her realize that these people often have still needed support for their trauma. I think she eventually created an organization that provided resources for survivors. Blake doesn't need to go that far, instead she have said while I might not be the best person for that discussion, here are some resources that would help like the No More organization that were actual advisors during the filming of the movie. The crux of the problem of the was that Blake can't read the room (most times) as seen in her answer to that particular question, other interviews and how she reacted to Kjersti Flaa's congratulations. Yes, using the word "bump" was different and little clumsy, but it was clear from her tone and body language that she meant it in a congratulatory way. If anyway, the reporter seemed little nervous and wanted to break the ice. Watching Blake's previous interviews, there were similar behaviors (not the same degree), but because she is a conventionally attractive woman, she was not called out on it. Like you said, eventually the rotten personality becomes more obvious to ignore.

Controversial opinion: but Blake Lively and JLow are both extremely average (even though they both had work done) in the looks department and talent wise. I normally hate bashing any woman, but I truly believe Jennifer Lopez is insufferable, and she destroyed Ben Affleck. He was sober, in therapy for decades, and I think she ruined him. He looks exhausted and struggling with his sobriety. Then Jennifer comes out with an alcoholic beverage line?! She has no respect, empathy or compassion for Ben, and that is quite clear. I sincerely hope Ben is able to get his life back together and be with his kids as much as possible. I just wanted to correct something quickly. Mia Farrow, not Mia Sparrow :)

I would say do your own research is the safest way to gain knowledge. And say something along the way about having respect for SA victims. Periodt nothing more.. the longer you talk about it the less genuine it feels and the more you expose yourself and the fans probably don't look for answers more like a way to connect with their fav ppl. Everyone just want to be seen. And also intentionally make things akward to avoid talking further if you don't want ppl to come up and talk to you
@m.c072 ай бұрын
@Epokiceblue4 I really like your answer, thank you. Im really shy, so I wouldn't have known how to frame an answer in the moment. Everything about it felt improvised and too relaxed. There was no respect towards SA victims in her address, and it felt self-serving, too.

When you’re attractive people either automatically assume that you’re nice, shallow, dumb, or some combination of the 3. However, when you’re a celebrity, people hold you to a higher standard and if you don’t fit their preconceived notion of how you should be, it can either be to your benefit (if you’re smart vs dumb) or to your detriment (if your mean/aloof/insensitive).

I got a lot more intel of both these ladies. I also fell like if a celebrity is being rude once, that's one thing. Like everyone has a bad day and we say something we don't mean cause we're just going through a lot. However if there's MULTIPLE occasions then there's an issue. Just cause you're a celebrity you have no excuse to be rude to other people. Cause I think J-LO is a beautiful woman, but after hearing all the rude things she's done her beauty just sinks in my eyes.
