I think that the mother is frustrated because that baby doesn't seem to be catching on fast enough. It could barely hold on to her. That's usually the thing they do the best right from the beginning no matter what. Hold onto the mothers fur...

This is the exact opposite reaction that I even seen. Most cases the Silverback wants to take a look at least and most females a re apprehensive of even letting them have them. In this case she wants Dad to take over and he may for a little bit but not often and for long the way at least.lol It is amazing of how that same thread shows up in life in different things.
