It's very obvious that much like Charlie originally, you haven't actually read the script, because if you did, you wouldn't have this opinion. To paraphrase, one of the content thieves said in defence to criticism that he reached out to the original creator after the video was uploaded, and the original creator was ok with it. DVAU's line was something along the lines of "anyone who believes consent for something can be gained after the fact, is probably not someone you want to leave alone with your drink." Hyperbole? Yes. Does it perfectly illustrate his point? Also yes.

He was right about some points. I remember watching his first videos on the subject and you couldn’t have convinced him that he wasn’t Gods first totally right creation. But, to give an example, Asmongold reacts and says “Go give this guy a subscribe,” and the person immediately is on the come up. It does help smaller creators sometimes, so you can’t say “This only hurts small creators” like he postured in the early videos. To be fair even at the time people agreed with DarkviperAU's actual points, it was just his unnecessarily inflammatory and irresponsible language, where he did very much actively compare react content with rape in a catastrophically stupid way that gave every two bit chancer an easy way to try to dismiss his points.
