This song got me thru my years in the Army when I was in a dark and lonely place in my head. I survived 3 tours in Iraq and a failing marriage, so this songs reminds me that life is fantastic and it can become better. The painful sting of the past motivates me. My wife and I are stronger than ever and our family survived. Our son’s in college and starting his own business. Time sure flys!

Before we had our scenes filmed, they tried telling us we would have to change and we all looked at them like.. “you DO REALIZE this is the band you’re filming the music video for, don’t you?!” Every one of us got along so great that day, we even all met up and hung out at the location where we had to go sign up to be in the music video. I would give Anything to go back to that day!

My sister got addicted to drugs and left the house when she was 16. My mom and dad divorced when I was 2. My dad worked nights. By the time I got home from school he was at work and when I woke up for school he was asleep. I remember my childhood feeling so isolated… listening to this in my old farmhouse. I lived and grew up across the bridge from this theater, and the girl in the red 'I bite' shirt featured many times 😂 was one of my teenaged friends. Good memories. Before things got crazy.

This song reminds me of all the children left behind by parents overdosing. I raised 2 grandchildren because my children lost their lives to drugs. I hope every day addicts can get clean n be here for their kids to watch them grow n love them. You dont know what it does to them. Being a mother of addicts is hard but harder for their babies. Bless us all and much love to this Fantastic band. I hope I get to see them and bring my grandchildren
