Well I can't ever really believe No one was sent to get me And I feel like I'm being erased No one got left here, I'm all alone, No one was sent to get me I'm all alone, no one got left here But I'm fine, No one got left here, Well I'm fine, No one got left here, I can't even breathe when I see, The pictures sent without you, And I feel like I'm being erased, No one got left here I'm all alone, no one was sent to get me, I'm all alone, no one got left here, I'm so sick of this terrible instinct It's so hard now just to find you So sick of the terrible instinct, I can only find you

This song has a very personal meaning for me. When I was little my Mom and stepdad were violent and addicted to drugs. When I was 5, my half-sister's father filed for full custody of her and won. I didn't see her again for years and missed her terribly ("I can't even breathe when I see the pictures sent without you"). I felt like a little nobody that was left behind and unwanted. I wanted someone to come for me too ("I can't even really believe no one was sent to get me") I did "feel like I was being erased" by abuse, isolation and bullying every day. I finally left at 19 but I've struggled so much as an adult with mental health issues. I still feel like no one.

Thanks Kevin Maloney I must point out what i'm sure you already know, "End of the world" from Cold is also a very inspiring song and video. So much so it can bring tears to my eyes at times. Not because i hate everyone. Because i love Jesus Christ(My God) and wait for him to be sent for me. I wait for the day when he and his army pay this world a visit. The Great And Terrible Day Of The Lord will soon take place. I promise you Kevin, Jesus Lives. When they asked my lord Jesus "What must we do to be saved" He didn't give them a huge list of do's and don'ts, He simply said "Believe that i am he" (the perfect sacrifice for your sins and mine.

Funny story about this song... So I was born (1981) and raised in Jax FL. Left 5 years ago & now live in Detroit area. Even though I always heard about COLD back home, I never made it a point to go see them. I was way into punk rock then (90s-00s). Fast forward to now, I feel so alone because all my family and friends are in FL and I have no support system where I am now. This song popped in my head so I listened to it on Apple music, then thought I'd watch the video. Here's the funny part: I always imagined the singer to have a head full of super long blonde dreads!! I have no idea why! I guess it's just one of those things where your mind just envisions whatever it wants. So to my shock, he actually looks 100% different than what I pictured in my head. Great song. I listen to it a million times in a row, cry a thousand tears then move on to another song and forget about it until I feel those emotions again and then fall in love all over.
