In opposite, from his talk, after Rd3, MC spends almost all of his time until 30 secs remaining. It sign little panic. He don't know what to do to continuing his attack. But, in the end, his instinc take over, and Qf5 is the only move! and just play whatever his gut feeling (this for us, mortals, we know he activated his beast mode lol). Ofc this is not work with top level GM. His choice for Knight sacrifice early show that he cleary know to adjust his skill for the opponent. I mean if he serious from move 1, nobody can withstand. Many of super GM, including Hikaru once says that even in bad form, Magnus' mediocre move is naturally good move. Just shows us how really good his instinc from vast memories

Just imagine: you're a highly rated chess player. You're playing the world champion and you're a knight up, a minute of time up and you're also 'objectively winning', as evaluated by the world champion himself. The world champ has just spent a whole minute trying to find a way to get his Queen into your king's chamber but you've thwarted his plan. He's got 45 seconds left, you're bound to win, right? And then he pulls something out of his arse so powerful you resign a few moves later.

If he is live streaming it, can't the opponent watch the livestream while he is playing to know what Mag is going to do next and what he is thinking out-loud? Or was it not live streamed?

In the movement that took too long, he could play rook g8, then change bishops , take the white horse with the rook, move to the left and go for the mate with the queen. Or there is something i'm missing

Sometimes Magnus is very impressive and this is one of those games.....followed a line he knew to be dubious in the opening, gave the opponent a piece and you might think, what the fuck is he doing? However, the guy might have been a piece up, but he couldnt do anything with it, as Magnus had the initiative and forced this opponent onto the defensive. Also, watch how he spent a lot of his time on one move, working out a plan and then after that he was just blitzing the moves out following it.....great stuff !!

I’m not good at chess, but like watching Magnus. But why didn’t play white xe7 after Magnus played xg3? After Qh5 e8(Q) is check. Rxe8 and Re8 white would be better and could have won if he could bring in his Q.

You've overshot by one move. Rhf8 was played instead of Qh3. If he had chosen to play Qh3 first, then f3 pawn would've been hanging and white Qxf3 removes the threat.
