I feel he summed up an important concept of chess... When he said I don't want to simplify, next move he intentionally simplified, he admits his contradiction, points out the position and terms changed. The relative details of what is important change with every move.

at 3:59 Magnus is seemingly in a impossible time situation: 0:30 while his opponent is 1:50... From then on he goes full beserk mode (try to follow), completely destroys the Warrior and still wins on time. Unhuman

Should he not have taken F2 ? When white queen takes, he takes on H1 with check possibly taking a queen exchange or another rook A1. Let me know if I’m wrong cause I’m still learning.

What a beast! Realize that the skill of playing incredible classical chess with large time controls is very, very different from this 10 seconds left flagville mania. You can see that in so many other banter blitzes (Svidler, Anand etc.) where great classical players getting flagged by these 3 minute format experts. Not here! Not only will you get outplayed, but just try to flag and see what happens!

@@aleks-wy6uf that is very possible, I'm not sure how high doses would effect his game but I did read an article about scientists looking at the effects of micro dosing someone while in an mri and getting then to preform these types of tasks. They seem to improve and it makes people feel sharper and clearer, they've also found micro dosing every couple of days to be beneficial to people who suffer with depression. They're still trying to understand why this happens but they believe one day it may be available as a medication. Perhaps not at high doses where people experience an altered sense of self but at very low micro doses.
