I was running round some management trails today doing like you said spot checkin. Pretty dry where I was burning calories as well.

Check the North slopes/draws, and the bottoms (moisture) that’s where we’ve found em at. Best of luck to y’all this season. 👍🦌

What would you say is a good size buck track in AL? In inches?

It’s kinda relative to where you are. But that track was larger than most I see in the area. On flat ground his dew claws were visible and his toes were spreading due to his weight.
