Mr. Yawt Yawt, I'm a totally and permanently disabled army veteran who was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and depression as a result of a traumatic brain injury and facial fractures. The greatest thing I've done is to recognize and understand that being vulnerable and seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness but a show of strength. Keep livin', my friend.

If you’re living in a wheelchair I could agree with you but if you can move then your problems are a result of something else, most likely drugs or alcohol. I’ve lived nearby a VA and these guys all have the same problem. You got to get 100% off the drugs and you’ll be just fine.

I was living with PTSD's I held it all inside for many years. It nearly destroyed me. I was drinking myself to death. I was a hard case I had drank for thirty three years. When I met my Wife she saw something in me that was still salvageable I guess. She was able to help me through the worst of it. She is a determined Lady. We have been happily married for sixteen wonderful years. I have been completely sober for twelve and a half years now. Sometimes God provides us with that right person at the right time to save us from ourselves. I agree.. Find someone you can trust with your soul for a little bit it really helps. And keep on praying.

David, as the proud dad of two thirty-something young men, it’s okay to be emotional about your son’s milestone events. It means a change their physical closeness to us, but it is not the end of their lives for us. In fact it helps to define the depth of their love for us and expressed to us. Harlow is a good young man you and his mom did a great job making him that young man. Now you get to see the fruit ripen and see what Harlow can do with that upbringing. He is not done making you proud! Less emotionally, a simple addition to your laundry dispenser made hand washing station is add 1 cup rubbing alcohol to the container and fill it up with water. Just a drop or two of liquid hand or dish soap will help the water solution soak your hands faster by cutting oils or grease on your hands.

I feel you about Harlow growing up. It is a dirty little trick our kids do and it happens all too fast. Y'all have a great relationship and he obviously looks up to you. Don't look at this as being the end of something but as it being the beginning of a great life for him... As for the hand washing water .. add vinegar to it. It is a natural disinfectant. God Bless you and your family.

Our youngest son was an EMT at age 18. Later became a firefighter/paramedic. Now a LEO. he was recently diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and depression after he was involved in his fiancé abusing him. His chief insisted he seek therapy and he is grateful for that. Medication and talking to someone has hopefully made a difference. He is only 31.

Moving to a better home seems, to me, to be making life much better. Remember, Happy Wife, Happy Life. Also, your sprituality is not changed. That is a plus! Be Safe, and God Bless you, and the family! Also, your content is keeping me tuned into you every episode, and I want you to succeed in every way possible. I just can't say enough about Red. Congrats to Harlow on his senior year, I just went through these same roller coasters of emotions my 2 oldest graduated in May and start College tomorrow as men we pride ourselves on being protectors and the leaders of our house when in reality we all suffer in silence but one of my favorite sayings is “god won’t walk you to, what he won’t walk you through” so keep on truckin sir we just riding shotgun with the lord everyday anyways, and that wash jug we use regular water with a cap of bleach and keep a bottle of hand cleaner around which does the trick for us… we trap and use dogs here we went this morning but it’s been pretty dry here so not a lot of action this week but we’ll keep at it have a blessed one sir!

I definitely know how you feel about your son and his sports. My son started playing ball when he was 4. He was so amazing in baseball and football. He was playing travel ball. Super at it. I was his coach but most importantly I loved to watch him play the game. He played with so much passion. Well when he was 8 years old that was his last time on a ball field. His mother and I separated when he was 2. Well she seen how much he and I enjoyed it. She pulled him out of sports all together when he was 8 She did a lot of evil things. Kept him from me for 2 years started seeing him again when he was 10. He’s now 14 and a freshman in high school. I miss him playing ball. Harlo is a great kid. He’s definitely following his amazing dad. Thank you for you motivation David. I love following you.

I'm one of those guys that held everything in. I never should have thought that I was to manly and hold everything in. I ended up having a nervous breakdown. It took 4 months and 3 therapist and a psychiatrist to get me back to normal. To this day I talk to a therapist once a month. It's absolutely the best thing for my mental health. I will recommend anyone that needs help to get it. I was recently diagnosed with chronic ptsd from a fatal car accident I was in. Having the therapist before my ptsd started was the best thing for me. I will never say that I am to manly for getting mental health help ever again

Hey Yawt! You are a part of my therapy. I love to watch you and get my laugh on. I have been enjoying my weekly edition of The Yawt Yawt Show for 3 or 4 years now. Thank you for all that you do. I hope you realize it goes way beyond the KZbin and social media! Keep up the good work.
