It could be either, we’re pretty certain that Afton is willingly controlling Springtrap given the way he acts and moves, him moving to the audio lures could just be either a remnant of his desire to murder children taking over, or the suit overpowers his control and forces him to ho towards the sound for a brief time. I think it’s meant to be vague as to which is true because we as the player don’t know it’s Afton or are certain that there’s a corpse even inside the suit until the reveal at the end of the game

This video is scarier than the actual *FNaF 3* because it makes me truly feel what it would be like to be trapped with a heavy, machine-like killer in such a closed-off space. Imagine hiding in a corner best case scenario, Springtrap enters the room, and you manage to slip behind him and sprint to the other side of the building. Even if you reach the opposite exit, you're not safe. He’ll still be shuffling around, stalking you, or even cutting you off by crawling through the vents. Maybe you could try hiding in a vent to buy some time, but even there, you’re looking at a 50/50 chance of facing him head-on. That’s not even considering the extra challenges of not being able to repair building errors or check the cameras for his location.

Hiding in a vent is the worst idea, Springtrap is a rotting corpse in a rusty metal suit heavily rusted by his blood and water, he's probably extremely unagile, find a crowbar and jump him from behind or just run around in general, it takes him a long ass time in universe to travel to your office, even in the Nightmare mode he comes but a few minutes every hour

If you have prep time, take the size off an arcade machine and climb inside. If they are old machines found in an abandon storage area chances are they were already gutted. Most people don't know that and wouldn't think to check them since the screen has like 1 flashing light behind it. Just don't go inside the chica machine and you're fine. Or bring a weapon. A crowbar, hatchet, fire are, sledgehammer, etc would make short work of him. OR MY PERSONALITY FAVORITE, buy and agricultural graded flamethrower that is intended to be used for burning fields of grass and weeds. He cant kill you if you melt him

Given you lose oxygen very easily in the building without resetting the ventilation, any enclosed space could easily cause you to pass out or worse. The ventilation systems are only accessible in the office itself so resetting them while hiding isn't an option. Most weapons likely would not be effective at truly killing him, and is risky at best. The flamethrower would probably work however requires close proximity. He could easily rush you and set you on fire as well.

Maybe the vent seals could help. Sure he could realistically go backwards through the vents but you could totally loop Springtrap through the office to cam 14 vent if you seal off cam 15. Sure he may have the mind of a human but dude would just not be fast enough to catch up especially inside a vent. Phantoms can’t open vents so they couldn’t mess up the loop. Just run through the whole building once Springtrap is halfway through the vent and enter through the other side. He could try to trick you by stalling but that just makes the vents a safe place again.

Very important reminder !!! you have to close the vents in fnaf 3. which in the case of prep time MAY lead to you not being cooked if you play your cards right. -take 2 arcade machines and bring them to the office, blocking the vent in the room. -take the other 2 and block the door with them, pushing the desk and all the equipment up to it too for more support. -use your panel to block the cam 15 vent, making is so if Springtrap wanted to get to your office via that vent, he'd have to go aaaaaaall the way up to cam 10/cam 14 and crawl alllll the way through just to be blocked by the 2 arcade machines. -at that point, be careful of the phantoms and use the repairing panel often, maybe luring springtrap to the middle of the building if we're taking that part into account too. if he doesnt get lured at all, his only way inside to you is still the vent and or door, but the vent is heavily covered and would be super inconvenient for him and the door is blocked as well by the 2 other machines plus the desk/equipment. all youd have to do is push against each side if he tries to move or push them and maaaybe youd be alright. this isnt fullproof obvi, like youre probs gonna get clapped up if he decides to actually break the window in the office eventually, but its still probably the best bet for the prep time option. with no prep time this idea is practically impossible.

We need to talk about what was in that vent, big man Jokes aside, For me I see two options: 1. Cover up the window and hide in the left corner of the office. This way he cant see you from the door way. And because he's loud af in the vents, you can hear him coming and have time to move to the opposite corner. Repeat until the nights over 2. Just fight back. As far as I know, Willys crackhead super strength is a trait given by the fandom. That suit is 30 years old and musty and rusty af, so theres no way the animatronic systems are still working to give him a boost. With that in mind, hus strength could be comparable to a human and make for an even battlefield

Okay so there’s realistically two options: 1. If springtrap IS just a haunted musty suit, then it’s the smartest option just to bust through him and dash to the exit. 2. If springtrap has supernatural abilities, then you have to be strategic in using lures and hiding until you make it to the exit (or just play regularly as the game intended).

But still, this guy is anywhere between 400-900lbs and has human intelligence, I don’t think dropping him is going to be easy, and he sure as hell won’t be down for long. The chances of victory are not very high, especially considering he only needs one good blow to either kill or severely injure you. He’s more likely to down you before you down him.

That intro was AMAZING. The editing gets really good when you want it to be throughout the video, and the animation and rendering are very nice. Most of that stuff is rubble from the very building you're in, so it isn't around yet if you're hiding from Springtrap. 15:45 To be fair, the suit physically forces him to do it, since it's in animatronic mode (which is what fucked him up to begin with) and is programmed to follow sounds. 17:26 The camera will just decide to stop working after a certain amount of usage, requiring a reboot, so in all cases you want to bring the maintenance tablet with you. 24:00 If you grab the suit before he's brought to the location, he wouldn't know any better, since he hasn't seen the original layout.

The only other spot I could think of is the right corner in the office near the vent, just crouch in thats corner, pull the desk closer to your body so Springtrap has a harder time seeing you, and just grab some of those presents and stack em in Front of you so it covers your body.

in fnaf help wanted fnaf 3 area, at the back of the office are a bunch of boxes and stuff, so you can just hide in them, also if you dont think that is accurate to fnaf 3 then how did fazbear entertainment in help wanted get the fnaf 3 map down to every prop, i mean lore wise in help wanted.? also u can just pile the boxes ontop of you and create a space, and if u are going to fazbear frights for 5 nights, when u exit for the next night, u can prepare by using sound proof wall things so u can just watch youtube or something when u are in the office. EDIT: also in the fnaf 3 phone calls it says the fan is metal watch the fingers, so you can just take off the covering and if springtrap finds you wack him with it for self defence.

You can kind of try to trap Springtrap inside a vent (assuming you can take the camera tablet with you). Just wait until he enters the arcade room vent (it's closest to an actual arcade machine), block the entrance with an arcade machine, and seal the vent. Probably, you would want to block it with 2 or 3 machines so that he couldn't shove them away, but I doubt he is that dramatically strong, given how endo-s look (I doubt these teeny-tiny ball joints have any power whatsoever). Even if he, for some miracle, is dramatically strong, it'll be harder to push the arcades away, I don't think this rotting fursuit has the required amount of articulation

It’s probably best to try and vent camp him since he’s pretty slow in the vents. We know this because of FNAF:VR. What sucks is that the ventilation errors will eventually make it so you can move or see Springtrap as you usually could, eventually leading to death. The best bet is to just play the game normally really.

@ there is actually a way into the SL bunker via the experiment rooms. I recommend you get the 8th Tales Of The Pizzaplex book (B7-2) and skip to the last story in it titled Dittophobia. That has more info about the rooms and how the rooms connect to the bunker lol- so if you combine them you could do escaping Afton’s experiments then having to actually hide from the funtimes (Edit: and sorry if that’s a bad suggestion the fnaf nerd in me is coming out lol)

I know how to win, actually: simply put, you need to outsmart him. Traps, weapons, sneaking arpund continually, anything you can muster to get him off your back. The best case scenario is having explosive or incindiary devices to try and tear apart the suit, which would leave Afton without the one thing he can use to actually hurt you

@Arcana_zero_studios he is slow and not physically strong offensively, but he is also a hunk of metal so he will likely take many hits to go down. Better either go for an ambush like you said or aim for the joints. Take the hook off the foxy arm in the office, and then jab it into a knee joint or something and boom down he goes. Then just take the fan off the desk and beat him till he stops moving. Also there is a box full of random shit to throw at him if he tried to rush at you
