Just an update to everyone here, Jirards Open Hand Foundation donated $600k to a FTD Foundation this week...that's not the full amount and there's still a lot of $$ unaccounted for. Especially from the charity golf tournaments...So they 100% should be investigated still, but it's no longer the worse case scenario of all the money being gone.

you probably should have mentioned that they have donated 600k now. that's still about 100k short of the indieland stuff (655k plus 50k odd from this year). still took too long and numbers still dont match. and the fact it took so long after the first vids came out to actually donate (at least to me) makes it seem like they were scrambling to get funds together to look like they still had everything and could donate one other thing you said that open hand and the golf thing both started in 2003 which the websites do say but the filed documents in the original vids show open hand to have been created in 2014 i believe

This breaks my heart because the group that TheCompletionist was apart of, Normal Boots, was so important to me in hs as a lonely kid. I would watch them every day pretty much. I played every ending of Asagao Academy, their parody dating sim. Unfortunately, a few of them now have turned out to not be the most ethical (ProJared, Jontron) so it doesn’t really surprise me anymore. Just makes me really sad. Especially since my grandmother and a few my mom’s side suffer from Alzheimer’s. So heartbreaking :(

We have no proof the money has not been “used” it’s from their tax return filled out by them- as has been mentioned esp by asmongold you could in 30 sec show the bank balance, and the silence is crazy. Actually the silence implies lawyers involved and you involve lawyers when something is up. He is deceptive but when you donate 25 bucks to a charity, it goes to overhead and administrative expenses. There is some legitimacy to making the largest donation as possible to make sure the money is actually used/dispersed for the actual charity. Not saying that this is what happened ...
