Last Ramadan, the benefit I felt was the power of the Quran. With the recitation of the Quran and making dua for a scholarship. Allah has answered the dua and I'm currently in KDI School in South Korea doing my master's. I believe with the dua after reciting Quran, Allah has answered my prayer to be awarded a full-funded scholarship.

Something I've observed during Ramadan is that the pain caused by the emptiness of the belly is subdued by the bliss caused by the fullness of the heart. The lesson learned from this is that what ever you sacrifice for the sake of Allah will be replaced with something far better.

One lesson I have learnt from last Ramadaan is what Ibn Taymiyyah said: "What really counts are good endings, not flawed beginnings" I had a headstart, so much zeal and energy going into Ramadaan, however by the time half of Ramadaan was over, I realised soon enough and started panicking but still tried somewhat to do the most out of it. At the end, the "last" day of Ramadaan I wasn't objectively doing much but the last 2-3 hours I gave everything and it was as if I knew I would die in a few moments. I would precisely calculate what would be the best deed to do, even while walking, every breath more or less I would do dhikr to the masjid and back. Moments before Maghrib I was hyper-focused into du'aa, it was a make or break moment. Like this was it, Yaa Allah, Yaa Allah, Yaa Allah! I felt regretful (maybe my fault, maybe not due to my circumstances) for not cherishing Ramadaan enough and I was giving everything to make the most out of these last moments. How much I fell in love with Ramadaan, Yaa Allah! Wallahi, what happened next was a grand blessing! Ramadaan 2021 was one extra day! Imagine the relief! ONE MORE CHANCE. Wallahi it was a blessing and I was probably over the moon! I kept doing my best the next day and Wallahi, I don't regret to this day Ramadaan 2022, whatever happened last year. I feel so satisfied because I hope it was a special ending and the middle doesnt bother me anymore.

The lesson in my previous experiences in Ramadan, is through patience is where progress is achieved. I thought it over often. I wanted to reach a place where I possess Taqwa. I realized through Ramadan that I have to endure in controlling my nafs, hour by hour day by day. You’ll have moments where it will be hard but if you have patience and endure the “pain” it will get easier and you’ll get closer towards taqwa.

The most important lesson I've learnt in Ramadan was Islam is much more beautiful and deep than I initially thought. The reason for this realisation was that I started to read the Quran with meaning and commentary. It was one of the best things I've ever done. Alhamdulilah.

One thing I learnt from Ramadan was: The word ‘Ramadan’ comes from the word ‘Ramad’ which means ‘burning’ When reading the Tafsir of Imam Qurtubi he mentions that it was named Ramadan because it burns the sins of people with good deeds. I thought that was something amazing SubhanaAllah!

Assalamu alaykum, The biggest thing I’ve learned from Ramadan is this month shows us how we are actually need to be for all the time outside of Ramadan as a muslim. For example if you listen music and when Ramadan comes you’ll stop it so you’ll realize you should not be listening music at all the time or when Ramadan comes you read Quran, you do a lot of athkar and prayers so it shows that you should be doing that outside of this month as well and Ramadan helps a lot to fix all of this by the power of Allah swt

I have to say, the community of Muslims within Ramadan is beautiful. Spending Ramadan alone is a bit tough, but with family and friends it's enjoyable. The sense of community when you go to a masjid where no one an judge is wonderful. I feel as if, progressing in Islam is easier when you are in a group. You are going to learn something different from everyone's personality and love them for the sake of Allah. You are able to improve yourself while being surrounded by good people and it is a rare opportunity for people to be in such a situation. The lesson overall, Ramadan comes every year is like Allah giving us a chance to become better Muslims. It's a blessed month so when we try, our rewards are also increased. The feeling of peace when you accomplish something for the sake of Islam is amazing.

Ramadan is a chance ! I remember my biggest points of change in my life were during ramadan . I first decided to become a better muslim who wants to get closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'alah during one ramadan , I also started wearing niqap last ramadan Alhamdulillah . I just love how muslims perform ibadat in a better way in ramadan ! So a lesson I learnt from ramadan: that it wasn't that hard ... all the time we were capable of being better , we did it and we can take that with us through the rest of the year till the next ramadan in sha Allah .

Lessons I got was, no matter how difficult the times are during this blessed months, you will come out of it better and every hardship will be more bearable, you will be able to train to be more patient than ever before, only if you intend to be patient and so actions accordingly for the sake of Allah, Allah surely facilitates our journey.

just yesterday I was at the mosque to pray maghrib, and at the time of iftar, I saw something wonderful : I saw adults, children, old, rich , poor, all feeling the same upon hearing the adhan. it reminded me how equal we all are, then I remembered the hadith of the prophet (peace be upon him) where he says: “He who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. " and feeling that joy together made it bigger.

The lesson i learned - doing iftar regularly with a bunch of strangers in the masjid taught me to not look at other’s plates except to make sure they had enough. At first i used to see what others got since people brought different things but limited amounts. If i saw something i liked but I didn’t get, it’d truly sadden me and even ruin the satisfaction from the food i did get. Since then I stopped looking at other’s plates and SubhanAllah the food i got tasted so much better and only time I’d look sideways would be to make sure that the brother had what i got. Now i apply this to all aspects of my life - Lowering my gaze from other’s blessings and being thankful for mine. Alhamdulillah.

Lessons I learnt from this Ramadan and all other Ramadan is the immerse love Allah has for us. The opportunities to get close to Him, The piety we learn, the humbleness and the believe and Yaqeen we have that our fast and du'as would be accepted. Ramadan has 29/30 days. In these days, we are encouraged to Read the Quran Daily, Perform Salat on time. Perform Tahajjud. Research shows that it takes 30 days for a habit to be created in the brain. Then 60-90 days to make that habit a lifestyle. Apart from the immerse reward, Allah Azsawajal is teaching us a habit which would help us achieve Success both in this world and the hereafter. How merciful Allah is. How MERCIFUL

Of the many lessons that Ramadan provides, to me it has always been the lesson of resetting. This dunya has a way of distracting us from our main purpose in this life, the worship of our Rabb. When Ramadan comes, it always seems to put into perspective what is truly important, changing everything in our daily routine to maximise our Ramadan, the sense of resetting. No matter how you lived your life before this month, it’s so blessed that anyone feels like they can simply reset and enter it, maximise its blessing and get closer to Allah. It is indeed a truly blessed gift and mercy to us from Allah

I learned last Ramadan that It's better to endure 100 battles against yourself in this life than endure 1000 regrets in the next. We all accumulate different weaknesses/obstacles from one Ramadan to another and they can be difficult to overcome. During this month it may be disheartening sometimes to keep going and keep whittling away at them - eventually mentally burning out. However, I know that Allah loves those who keep going and never give up. I can keep trying, and keep failing but as long as I don't give up, I won't regret it in the next life, and also know Allah has a mighty outcome ready for these efforts!

The lesson I learned and am still learning is |Allah swt guides whom He wants and when He wants.| I have a 17-year-old sister who has a habit of listening to music any moment on any day. Even during Ramadan. Personally I never really liked music, but I did enjoy it enough to listen to it. About a year ago I stopped listening to music and switched to Quran/nasheeds. No matter what time it is, whenever I have the urge of listening to smt I listen to nasheeds/Quranic recitations. And I think my habit has started to impact my sister, as she hasnt listened to music the past 4 days... I hear nasheeds playing from her phone to which I always played on my phone. Therefore never judge a person. Allah guides whom He wants and when He wants. InshaAllah she keeps this beautiful habit even after Ramadan.

I usually try to make use of my time wisely, make dua and ibadah, but i always find myself burning out and missing out. As for the second part, i realize we often blame shaytaan but we also need to take responsibility for pur own actions and i remember reading a powerful quote which stated that if we knew our worth, we wouldn't humiliate ourselves by listening to Shaytaan. lesson that i have learned from ramadan is the importance of food and water i think so fasting is like a test of faith i mean, we have food ( we can eat it without any one knowing but we don't) :)

A lesson I've learnt from Ramadan is that when we try our best to take the most benefit from this month, with ihsan, true change can happen. Ihsan, I've come to learn would include sincere intention along with mindfulness, extra effort (pushing yourself more) and knowing that every bit is witnessed by Allah. This lesson would allow me utilize Ramadan regardless of my yearly circumstances whether it be with motherhood, work, school, teacher, etc. It also helps when I feel overwhelmed to recentre myself back to Allah.

The one lesson I learnt from ramadan is how to reset your life and your bad habits. This concept was taught to me by a sheikh on your podcast. Being on self improvement, I know the importance of small bad habits which can lead to religious demise. But ramadan, along with its other blessings, really does us Muslims a favour by granting us this wonderful opportunity to just take a look at ourselves. What temptations to we have while fasting? What bad habits do we crave? Are we punctual in our prayers? All of this really makes me feel grateful towards Allah , the most kind and merciful.

What I learn from ramadan is : it’s not about establishing a diet , or restraining yourself from eating . It’s about patience and the humbleness you get from breaking your fast and the feeling that you get when your heart is clear of sinning and it’s getting more and more closer to Allah.

An important lesson I have learned is that backbiting and lying can break your fast and that Allah does not need someone’s hunger or thirst if he does not follow the rules of Ramadan and how to properly fast. Love vids keep up the good work

This ramadan I've learnt the importance of taking initiative and being proactive, especially when it comes to matters of deen. Having a plan to do something is good but unless you start somewhere, you will only keep on delaying further. All it takes is a courageous step with tawakkul.

Lesson i have learnt from ramadan is that this month tells us that which sins of us belong to our nafs. As we know satan is closed in this month so whatever sins we do are due to weaknesses of our nafs. So we should try hard to make our nafs strong in this ramadan and be strong so when ramadan ends we become able to fight against satan and also against our nafs. May Allah help us and forgive us this ramadan

SubhanAllah what I have learnt this Ramadan so far is that some days May be easy getting closer to Allah and some days it might be hard but the most important thing is to get through those days by just trying. And trust Allah swt because he is so appreciative of everything we do and blesses us in soooo many ways SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi

One of the lessons that I learned from Ramadan is that Ramadan is like a training session for us. It teaches us and trains us to become better servants of Allah SWT. All of the many restrictions that are in Ramadan is meant for us to try being better Muslims. Once the training session ends... if we truly committed to this Ramadan, then insha Allah, Allah will help us when we face various problems in our reality. p.s. Ramadan Mubarak for the OnePath Network team!! I wish you guys a truly blessed Ramadan.

An important lesson I've learnt from Ramadan is that Allah SWT is always so close to us. When we call out to Him SWT He is always there to protect us and to hear us. In the middle of the night, during the day, every single time He SWT is there and being conscious of this is the best feeling ever.
