Asalam aLeikum, how did the scholar differ mukham or clear ayat with mutashabihat or ambiguous verses? Ashari innovators say the Siffat of Allah or some of them are ambiguous, but what did the salaf us saleh say is Mukham and mutashabihat? Are Mutashabihat verses that which needs tawil with Quran? Like Quran 20.5 Allah is over His Arsh, ok Mukham, Quran 20.46 Allah is with Musa & Harun Hearing and Seeing - is this a tawil for the mutashabihat?
