I grew up Crappie fishing with my dad. We both kind of slacked off for a few years with me bass fishing. But us both watching your videos, we have both got back into and are catching fish (some slabs I might add) and loving it. Love fishing with my dad. I’ll take every second of fishing with him. Plus he’s a soon to be grandad with me and my wife expecting a little girl. I may be out of the boat in a couple years😂.

I live out of state and I'm boatless so I will be trying the shore and some creeks this winter. Unfortunately dad moved out of state so don't come out as often anymore.

Hey man love the channel. What bobber stop do you use? We have the 7’ acc crappie stick we have trouble with bobber stops hanging up in the guides on the rod can’t cast them very good

I use the thread on the black tubes, do you use the black beads? The 7’ doesn’t have the microwave eye, so you shouldn’t have that problem.

I have exact set up, I have a 3 acre pond deepest part is around my dock that is 11 feet deep and there are plenty crappies in there but I just cant locate them. I see the shad close to the evening tapping around the dock but I cant find the crappies. I have no brush piles to fish so where can they possibly be.

I guess it depends on where you live, I’m in Central, Florida, and winter is pre-spawn, where the crappie get very shallow under thick lily pad beds. Limit out in an hour!

Why do you want to know where I am so badly? I think that’s the bigger question. The purpose of these videos aren’t for you to know where I am. I am in east Texas. The purpose of these videos are for you to use these techniques on your lakes and bodies of waters.
