When I was 3 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, the doctors said I wouldn't make it but I proved them wrong and I am now 16 years cancer free. My point is don't ever give up no matter what anyone says.

For those who don't know, Dina has now passed away ❤️ it was in the norwegian newspaper a few weeks ago. Rest in peace ❤️ Dina was an inspiration to me as an aspiring illustrator in the same city she lived in, and she will be missed by the norwegian art community and the rest of the world 😢❤️

Her gentle soul and kind words as well as her imaginative beautiful art will always be remembered. I remember watching this video and being a little shocked, but comforted by her story and the hope her and the doctors had. It was so nice to hear her keep a sense of humour. And I was just looking forward to hear her future rambles and see her speedpaints, no matter the topic. So sad to lose such talent and such a lovely person from the community. I am so sorry to hear you had cancer, it's such a terrible news, but I am glad you are feeling better and I hope you'll be cancer free soon. I have been following you and some artists for some time, kickstarted the Snowcat Prince when you announced it: you're among those artists that inspired and convinced me to pursue a career in art, hoping that one day I will be able to do the same that you do. For years I have been taking some art classes on the side, and I will be quitting my job in a few months to switch to illustration full time (first as a student). I'm not young, I'm probably 10 years older than you, late 30ties, and cancer runs in my family. In the event it comes for me as well, I hope I'll have been able to create and share something, like you have. I'll keep you in my thoughts and wish you for the best. Take very good care of you!

Last year was not the best of years for me either, same as you i also got diagnosed with cancer (brain tumor in my noggin).
