I'm a geek too, and I have a broad range of interests, so I'm happy to see you going back to your roots. Yesterday I re-subscribed because your tutorial on adding an extended display to an iPad (rather than mirrored) was the best of the bunch on KZbin, and then this morning I saw this post. Do what brings you joy!

I always watched your videos analyzing the mid 2012 MBP year by year. Hope you can do that this year. And take your geek journey the way you like. Moving back to the roots could become a big step forward. Have a nive year buddy!!

Happy you're back. I have an old MacBook Pro (2011) which I upgraded with SSD and ram. Ran across your channel and really liked it. But more importantly, I'm a new KZbinr and constantly wonder if all the time spent editing is worth it. I think your advice is great, do what you have fun doing. It's so easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole of trying to produce for the algorithm. Thanks.

Yeah, it's super easy to get tied up in the hype of the "algorithm" and following what all the KZbin "gurus" say. A lot of the advice is good, but the problem is that you just end up looking like every other video out there.. I've learned it's all about the content and not as much about the production. I've had videos that have taken me an hour, from recording to posting, that have done amazingly. I've also had videos that I was sure would do well and put multiple hours into the recording / editing, only for it to tank. As long as the audio and video aren't bad, people don't really care if it looks "professional".

I appreciate the update. Even if you don’t do the 2012 MacBook Pro 💻 OS UPDATE instructional videos with new versions of Open Core, there will always be the older videos you did for that. Judging by those videos the process with newer installations of MAC OS is similar if not the same as other older updates like Ventura or Sonoma. I just updated my 2012 MacBook Pro to Sonoma from Ventura and I can’t thank you enough for the videos. I hope you keep doing those videos though. Keep up the great work.❤ your channel.

Very Happy to see your back, you do a great job on all your vid's I always follow your mac pro mid 2012 guides. I got a cheap one during covid to tinker with after watching your channel and its still going strong! Anyway Glad your mixing things up and doing what makes you happy. Look forward to your new content.

Welcome back! Listen, I watch your channel because you do things you love to do. Tell that algorithm to jump in a lake. You got me to install Linux on an old Surface Pro....and I LOVED it! I don't mind waiting for your next video. Just do it when you get the inspiration. From my point of view...it's worth the wait.

Good to see you back, I have learned so much from your Chromebook and Linux videos. Hope to see more of those, thanks for your efforts.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate that! I'm still interested in Chromebooks, so I'll definitely be doing some videos on them again.

Glad you're sticking around. Personally speaking, I have no experience with chromebooks nor Linux, but I still watch and enjoy your content on those subjects. Do whatever videos you like, I tend to watch stuff more based on the person as opposed to the subject matter. What's that guitar off to the side, what kind of music do you like/play?
@Eevnos9 ай бұрын
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that! It's an Ibanez electric, I also play a little acoustic. I'm not very good, but still like to play. 😂 I like multiple types of music, there's really nothing I dont' like. When I play, I mostly play classic rock and / or mellow acoustic stuff.

I just found you. You helped me to copy colours from one project to the other in Davinchi. This is so awesome! Thank you! I have one question. I have seen you created this video with a Panasonic Lumix G85 Camera. Can you give me advice please it there any way to attach a screen to the camera? I have a similar one (Gx80) but I am not using it as going back and forth checking what I recorded takes forever. I want to attach a little monitor to it to be able to check what is going on on the other side? Do you have any tips which worked for you? Thank you!

I'm glad you're back. Can you do more on Windows laptops and how they compared to Chromebooks because those are the most interesting to me especially if you can do one where you're able to burn or rip a CD into the Windows laptop knowing that that can't be done with a Chromebook. Maybe Chromebook will add that in the future. I had a Chromebook and it was a great computer but I really wanted to go back to Windows because I wanted to rip CDs into it.
