It’s so wonderful to be able to go “home” to family. NJ has so many amazing things to do and see. I’ve been in suburban NJ for 25+ years. NJ gets a bad rap..but we are in rural NJ and it’s beautiful 😍❤

Watching this made me feel so happy but also nostalgic. But very happy for you! In my 20’s and 30’s I was so busy chasing an active life and career and lived 90min. away from rom my hometown. I would go home a few times a year and sometimes begrudgingly. I regret I didn’t take more time with my mother and family. Now at almost 67, I have just one sister I’m not close to and we (husband and myself) are moving south many hours a way. I will have to work to form a family of friendships. I’ll be grateful for just one or two! Time is the tyrant! Continue being present in all that you do and find the joy in the little things. A cuddle with Potato, a glass of wine with mom. Those things make memories.

Wow, I clicked your response, because sweet Gail, responded to me, and I saw what you said about nostalgic. I agree with every word you said, and at 62 I feel the same. Life is precious. Hubby and I are alone in Florida, I got a small place back on Long Island because I have 2 sisters there I spend summers with. This year, we got postponed because hubby needed open-heart surgery pretty sudden. I have no friends here in Florida and thought wouldn't it be great to have a hobby that I could find friends, and so I am here with a channel on KZbin. I love it and life is short, whatever you do be happy always. Simply being in the kitchen or decorating our home gives me joy. I met people through my channel that are friends, a few I will visit when I'm in New York where I was born, raised. I wish you many new friends and happiness. I apologize for intruding on your comment, but I needed to, your words moved me. All The best to you.

Hi Gail, new subby here! I watched a few videos and subscribed to your channel today. I especially loved this video because I can totally relate, sometimes you just gotta pack a quick back and run home, it’s great for the soul. I’m watching from Mexico (moved here about 9 months ago) but I am a Colorado girl. Home is just where the 🤍 is! Probably gonna binge watch all your videos today, keep them coming 😅😅🫶🏼

I love your lounge Room layout so much that it inspired me to change the layout in my Art Deco flat. After 20 years of same positions the Daybed is now on the wall and the windows are free. I've made a Vlog on how I changed my lounge room..thank you 💗. Bondi Crafter on KZbin. We are in our 70's now and this layout will be the last change in my lounge room as I love it.

OMG! I'm in love with Potato, he is such a cutie.🥰😍 I admit I am very jealous, not for what you would guess. I have an adorable poodle named Millie. We live in a condo on the beach in sunny Florida, I have a pool, I can cook almost anything. So what is it I dream about and always wish for and never can have???
