I asked my husband to pray for her also. I met you at Ulta a few years back when I worked there. I’m staying home again now and have been for a little over a year now. Also lost quite a bit of weight and changed my KZbin name. I do go to a really good church in town. It’s newer. I’m not sure if you have one. Once he went by ambulance and he was home in 2 hours only to return 36 hours later. Definitely broken system. I’m praying for you, your mom and family.

We love your channel! You are our first homeschooler and the one that we've stuck with for many years. The healthcare system is not super great in this country. My mom went to several doctors, to be sent to more, to get a solid answer on illness (fibromyalgia)-and even then some doctors just disregarded it as nothing. But I saw what it did to her. The same with my dad and brain/lung cancer. You have to fight so hard for care and for a doctor to listen to you (granted, there are many doctors that are wonderful). Then there are days you feel so defeated because of insurance. It can feel as if why even have it because they fight you so hard on using it! Keeping your mom and your family in our prayers. You will get to your subscriber count goal and we will have a virtual party!! Love your cleaning videos, gift guides, fitness, pets, chatty, etc.

Thanks for updating! I have been concerned about your absence and have prayed for you. You are one of the first people that I have considered my KZbin family. I found your channel about a year and a half ago while watching gift guide videos. Although my daughter is a little older than your oldest and has different interests, I find that you tend to think like I do when shopping for gifts. I also have nieces that I buy for and I have gotten lots of ideas from you. I do not homeschool, however I do work in education, so I still find some of that content helpful. I am so proud of you for reading through the Bible (and admitting it is your first time). I think there are a lot more Christians that haven’t in this day and age than will admit. I started at the beginning of the year to read through again and still haven’t made it half way. I have also added the Bible Recap to my list. I heard about it from another KZbinr recently, and this gives me more evidence that it is worth it. Again, thanks for posting and please continue with the gift guides!

The Bible Recap is really nice, and I like that it groups situations, people, and stories together. It makes so much more sense to me that way rather than just trying to read it front-to-back.

I am not a fast reader. The first time through took me more than 30 years (I started when I was nine). During those years, I did read parts of the Bible over and over, but never lost my place to go straight through. Since then, I read it through another time that took about three years. Hoping to get this one done in two (so by the end of 2025), then start the Bible recap so it makes more sense. Life happens, so we will see, but as long as I keep going, I’m not going to beat myself up if I don’t make it. Thanks for sharing! Hopefully it will inspire and/or encourage many people on their Bible reading journey. It is always good to be familiar with God’s word, even if we don’t understand it yet. I will continue to pray for your mom (and you). Medical uncertainty is hard, but we serve a mighty God with a bigger plan than we will ever understand. Keep the faith and know that He will always take care of you!

Yes, I love it! My main thought process for it is not trying to "push myself" to finish in a year. If that's a goal for you, that's great, but for me...I really wanted to focus more on comprehension rather than time so it has taken me longer than a year to finish. That being said, I should have completed it by early spring.

Praying for your mom. Have you looked into taking her to the Mayo Clinic? You can request appointments online and if they accept you usually you don’t leave till you get answers. Yes it’s an expense to travel but two of my family members have gone after being on the merry go round of doctor to doctor. Admittedly I haven't watched your last few videos, no particular reason, just caught up with life events and we have been renovating our house this year, well my husband has. I always loved your cleaning, organising, healthy eating and workout videos. You always inspired me that way. Hey, glad to see your videos again! I never comment on any of the videos I watch, but I felt called to today, as you mentioned falling while roller skating. A few days before Christmas I took my kids out ice skating. I debated whether to skate, myself, but I wanted to have the experience with them and decided to do so. I am not a fancy ice skater (no lessons, etc) but am a competent skater, for sure, and I am an active person who is in shape and enjoys working out. Anyway, I was only on the ice for about five minutes when my blade caught on some ice and I fell really hard. I ended up fracturing my elbow and injuring my tailbone and pelvic floor. The pelvic floor injury is actually what I am most concerned with. (I have an appointment with my ob coming up soon to get more info.) I am 47. Anyway, I totally get wanting to skate with your daughter because obviously that's what I wanted, too (to have that nice experience with my kids). But honestly, if I would have known that I could fall and do such damage (I am wondering if the damage done to my pelvic floor is permanent -- please offer a prayer for me regarding this), I would not have gone out there. That said, I know falling on ice is a lot worse than falling on plastic (probably the material at your roller skating rink). But I did feel moved to tell you my story. Hope it helps in some way, and thanks again for your channel!

Oh, no! I'm sorry you got so badly injured. Our rink is wood, so it definitely isn't soft. I had knee pads on but when I fell, it just sort of pushed it off my knee so my knee cap took the full impact. You're definitely right and I'm trying to weigh the risk before making a decision moving forward. Again, I'm really sorry you got hurt but I hope and pray you'll heal fully soon!
