“Where is the Justice” - Varian TTS Animatic

Tangled the Series ended a few weeks ago, and I just got back into the fandom a few months ago, so that kinda sucks. On the bright side, I had the motivation to make this animatic once I heard the song “Where is the Justice” from Deathnote the musical. It’s even perfect because the one who plays as light in the song (protagonist) is Jeremy Jordan, who also voices Varian. Plus this song totally fits for when Varian was the villain.
STORY: Obviously this takes place during “Rapunzel’s Return,” but this time with a twist. In this animatic, Varian actually had intent to harm Rapunzel and her friends with the amber he compacted into those bomb things to teach her a lesson. Tell me what you think would happen next in the comment section! Also, if any of you are wondering where Cassandra is, she’s with Zhan Tiri in the Dark Kingdom.

@@donatellohamato748 To be fair, Varian had to be stopped and defeated and locked up and only later saw the error of his ways. Cassandra on the other hand reconciled with Rapunzel and worked with her to defeat Zhan Tiri, and even died in the process. (Though Rapunzel was able to res her.) Not saying Cass didn't get off easy for the party she played in everything, but that's one reason why she wasn't tossed in jail. If she had still been 'evil' at the end like Varian was at the end of season 1 she would have been locked up.

oKay! Three things- First of all, FIRE ANIMATION!! I loved this so much! Second- I really really like your take on what could’ve happened, like the ending scene where they use the amber to encase everyone. And why is nobody talking about one of the final frames where Rapunzels hair gets caught in the Amber and Varian walks over to her and is like ‘I won >:3’ I adore that so frigging much. This is the song where Varian and his new allies found a death note. It's just my fan made story. enjoy. Andrew: well kid. Now that were free, now what? Take back what is ours? Varian: No (open a urban legend book) it said that a death note is a book that can be killed if someone write the name of someone else. Andrew: but... why. (Varian having a flashback when repunzel didn't came to save his father. And he decide to have justice on his own hands.) [Varian] Where is the justice, when the guilty all go free? Why don't we lock them up and throw away the key? (Andrew is amazed of what he said and join him singing) [Andrew] I see a young man's anger burning in your eyes. [Varian] What you (turn around fast) see is my impatience (point at him) with your noble compromise. [Thugs and Andrew] Where is the justice? [Varian] (Close his eyes to have a shinigami eyes) we owe them some justice! [Thugs and andrew] Where is the justice? (ryuk hand went closer to Varian and his allies for the shingimi eyes and Varian and his allies sing the last part after they got the shinigami eyes.) Listen. I love this. I can see SSSOOOOOOOOO much effort went into this. You did AMAZING. Varian looks so amazingly badass. But I fuckin chuckled when he drew that goatee on. Like. I know he drew it on canonically, but SEEING him put it on, is just....hilarious. It's just this little reminder that while he's so angry and badass he is also a sweet soft baby trying to look hard. *Why didn't Varian's robot army have hoses with the crystallizing solution?* The robots were all but indestructible, so leaks weren't an issue. Varian could have used his Flynoleum pipes to flood Old Corona with crystallizing solution while the Coronian army enagaged a portion of his robot sentinels, thus encasing all of Corona's soldiers and forcing the King, Queen and Rapunzel to find a way to free them and to rely on his troops to maintain the peace with rival nations in the interim. Sheesh- it's almost like he was an angry teenager and not a tactical mastermind with the benefit of hindsight!

I think that since the black rocks are still there, Rudiger and Pascal would find a strand of Rapunzel's hair and take it so that it touches a black rock, breaking the amber that everyone is trapped in. They go to a safe spot in the kingdom, probably The Snugly Duckling. And while the Suporians are asleep in the night (Ima just called Rapulzel's crew The Gang) The Gang sneak into the castle to try to destroy Varian's lab. The Suporian's all have the same dream. Very similar to Varian's dream in 'Cassandra's Revenge' only this time, Zhan Tiri wants them to join Cassandra because they'd be stronger together and Zhan Tiri has a different plan to get the moonstone and sundrop. Zhan Tiri tells them to go to the dark kingdom and team up with Cassandra. The dream ands and they do just that, While Zhan Tiri is letting Cass know that the Supporians are going to be helping her. They arrive at the dark kingdom thanks to Varian's skills to make a hot air balloon move faster with science. They greet each other, the episode ends with all the villains doing an evil laugh as the camera slowly movies into the distance. Edit: GOD I WENT WAY MORE INTO THIS THAN I SHOULD HAVE!!

i feel like afterwards she will start singing the decay spell to free her hair, while the villains are confused the gang is a bit scard because they know rapunzel can't really control it yet. the saporians will try and attack her while she is still freeing herself and their swords will breack and maybe some of them will get thier hands burn like cassandra. this takes part in a matter of like a minute when her hair is free she will contine singing to free her friends, i feel like the saporians will retreat after she brock their wepons (and burned them) just with a single song. varian on the other hand will be in shock because she is burning the ember-the thing his dad is trapped in. by the end all her friends are free and she finally snnapts out of the spell and fanting as we cut back to a few hours or even days with rapunzel waking up in her room with pascal and eugne next to her

I first heard this song from bnha animation, and because of the voice I though that it's from Tangled: the series (I haven't watched the last season yet, only the first epi) because this voice really reminds me of Varian, and I was kinda surprised when I checked it and realized that it's from Death Note But when I saw in your desc that is the same voice actor, that explain everything XD Also, your animation is very cool, I love it ^^
