The Sabre takes pride of place in my collection. I prefer it to my Vector just because of the usable heft it has. It's an iconic, minimalist design. It's art!

Thanks for the update. I’ve been looking to snag a machine finish level 2 Sabre. I understand a business has to direct bandwidth to where the investment pays off most. Glad to see there’s is some background focus on the Sabre. Can’t wait to see how that pans out 🤟🏽

I find that GEM blades suit my skin best. I have over 30 Eveready, GEM and Star razors in my collection. I also have your Sabre. Sabre plate II suits me. Sabre is my preferred GEM blade razor. Congratulations on what you have done. If you can improve on that, you will have my undying support. Having said that, your Blackbird and Era (4) are right up there!

The level 2 Sabre is a fabulous razor, glad to hear you are continuing with it. It must be a frustrating predicament to find yourself in....to be the producer of, for many, the finest Gem razor ever made and then not produce it. I will be interested to see where the revamp goes but, in all honesty, i am a great believer of "If it ain't broke dont fix it"

Thanks, Mark! The core of what makes the Sabre the Sabre won't really change. But I think there is a lot of room for refinement in the design. We've learned a lot since the Sabre debuted and I'd like to incorporate of those design advances.

The Sabre is an awesome razor! I have three Blackland razors, and I find all shave great. I really enjoy my Sabre, please do not discontinue this product. Blackland makes incredible razors, I mainly used for years my Above The Tie S1 slant but find now I am using one of my Blackland razors for most of my shaves. Still want the Blackland Tradere but not sure if this will come back. I also had the original Blackbird with the original black coating but gave this to a friend who still uses it as his daily shaver
