It's pretty amazing how much these locations have changed over the course of 20 years, but at least to this day these places are known for making cinematic history, and i think the reason why buildings like the school and the diner look abandoned today is because i think they pretty much are abandoned and whoever owns the buildings now just don't do anything with them.

Hi Tampa yet another great movie indeed not sure if u remember i was the 1 who recommended u do the iconic 2005 The Girl Next Door locations and like u say waiting till Covid is a lot better and less risk to be able to get back out hunting down more iconic movie locations would you be able to show actual video clips of the actual movie for each scene then pause and replay when you get to where the next shot was captured ie in this case JEEPERS CREEPERS as u are pointing out where each shot of each scene i feel would be better than stills from your phone or if not showing the full movie on your phone as u point out where each scene was shot from. Even better a Split screen just showing the locations under while playing the actual movie

It's funny how so many people don't realize how rural and country Florida is.. some areas don't even seem like you're in Florida. We have some really huge hills. Howey in the hills is a hilly Town.. and so is Zephyrhills as well as Tallahassee. I drive into dunnelon and that area to visit my mom in-law. We are on the coast of Florida near Clearwater which is so different. Some areas out there are super creepy. He's driving thru the hilly open area but there are some areas in the woods that freak me out. Jeepers doesn't even show those!! I mean eery. My husband hates it.

That gorgeous Impala. That's what I thought was so cool when I first saw this movie. Did you know the truck that Creeper drove was a French WW2 ex Franch army truck by Renault called a Alliumous. There was only a few built. As a French Born UK living horror movie fan. I was very surprised to see the very rare truck in the movie. And where the hell did they find it? It would have had to have been imported at some point because they never want to the USA during their production time. There good old tough ass trucks though. I'm sad the church burnt down . That's just sad. Some idjit tryed to tell me it was set dressing. I've worked on sets it's not set dressing. The basement where he fell likely was a set. But the church was a real church. This movie is fantastic. And I love the last scene. Spooky as hell. Chriss from London UK

I live a mile from the Church. Have been here for many many years now . They say it was maliciously burned down. It hit me so hard that it was torched like that. It had historic value. We know the road the High School is on as Tiger Trail . It was closed to traffic for at least a month , maybe more when filming. My memory might not be exact. No traffic allowed except for the school. (students and teachers) That tree where Justin took a break... Always reminds me of the movie. They had the Police there the whole time while filming because the director Victor Salva 's career was derailed by the revelations of sexual misconduct with one of the film's underage stars. He was convicted so therefore the Police had to be present because of school so close. He did say he made a huge mistake and I believe he meant it. I wanted to make a vid like you did here about the movie,,,, You did a great job so I am happy!

No, but I want to. I feel like I would have needed an aerator mask for that one. How did you get in? Hit me up on social media :)

Did they not burn the old church down in the movie. I recall the two cops getting a radio call asking them if Derry and Trish are a couple of arsonists... then they broke to the EMS all at the church and it was fully on fire. You also missed the the crazy old cat lady's house where they stop before getting to the dinner. 😉 Maybe you can find that location for the 23rd anniversary video lol

I live down the road from where the diner scene was filmed. I would get so spooked driving through there before daylight to go to work. Especially during the filming. Now a motorcycle shop.
