did YOU know these EVEN exsisted???? What up D I E S E L GAAAAANG! One of my local peeps put me on this and I of all people didn't even know these were a thing. Ford part numbers are shown so you can get the exact same thing. Technically speaking this would be for 2017-2022 Ford Superdutys. They give you 2 Christmas because you also need 2 bolts and j clips. Part number -w708991-S439 you need 4 -w712559-S900 you need 4

Since I come from the rust belt, I see both positives and negatives to these. The positive: these guards will help protect from debris damage such as mud and stone. The negative: washing the salt (which inevitably gets past these guards) away is going to be more difficult. Unless I am using the truck as an off-road or job site vehicle, I would not be putting these on.

I've noticed these in the WSM as a step one to remove when removing the bumper. Haven't seen a truck in our fleet that actually has them though. However, my personal 2018 Lariat Ultimate (with snow plow prep, if that matters) has them. And those two missing "retainer clips" are supposed to be bolts and "speed clips" on either side; As stated previously in comments.

I have those on my 2018 King Ranch. As for those Christmas a for those Christmas trees in the bag… Ford uses those in a lot of places. One place they use those is the wiring that goes across the leaf screens/ top of the cowl. On 6.0 liters…

I feel like my 18 does too I’ll have to look when I get back home in a few days and check it out. Seems like I remember cleaning them when I washed it last time. Update: got home a couple days ago and it does have them on it, I’m sure it was one of fords many ways to trim cost down on new trucks, like not painting under hoods and the paint in door jams being so thin you can see through to the primer on some lighter colors.

Interesting, I have a 2022 F-250 Tremor 6.7 and my truck doesn’t have them. I’m also missing the rubber plugs in all four doors covering access to the latch mechanism bolt. What else am I missing!
