I know I should be crying, but I can't help... smiling.... Maybe it's the emotional depth of the film. Or maybe I was too sad to cry.... #1 Best Movie Ever, IMO.

This book really hit me hard. In my head I really knew billy and those dogs. I’ve never liked reading but I could read this book forever, but when those dogs died it really scared me. I finished reading the book in March, now it’s September and I’m still crying over those dogs who I never even actually met. What a damn good book

One of the best movies (to me anyways) about Real Love and Faith in God ever created in the Secular world! I've got this movie on pretty much everything these, I still watch it from time to time whenever I need a little lift from this old tired crazy world :)

+Shawn Startup This one and also Old Yeller, I think shares what you stated so well. I've shown my daughters these movies because I want them to understand that death is a part of life, not an end but a beginning. I think one of the problems with American society today is that we can't face death, we avoid it because most believe in nothing bigger than themselves, so we try to remain young forever we pile up material wealth, strive for our "15 minutes" on blogs, twitter and facebook and think we're "living" when actually we're just biding time until the clock stops.

+Brian Bois Gilbert exactly! #JESUS #CHRIST is the only way and all we should care about. This life is just a spec of dust test life before our Real Life. It's a free chance to choose #GOD before these human dying bodies can't go on, our Spirit lives FOREVER.

When a human dies in a movie: I’ll cry pretty hard if it’s a really sweet story When a dog dies in a movie: I’d probably cry and have a few tears down my eyes If my dog died irl: I’d probably ball my eyes out and have a panic attack and keep thinking and crying about it for a while If any of my family members like my mom, dad, or sister died: I’d probably kill myself to go with them dancing with Jesus.

Two weeks ago I lost my beloved dog of 12 & 1/2 years. She died unexpectedly right in front of me and the details are heartbreaking. Three days later my Mom died 76 minutes short of her 85 birthday. I was by her side. Im still in shock and asking why.
